The sacred process of becoming ready to greet the Lord at the meeting in the air on surface is merely one of tarrying and waiting, yet, more correctly discerned is one of abiding in blessing, continuing gradual growth, and giving glory and honor to divinity through praise and unselfish service. Your Word is a light to my roadway”, rather than anxiety, fear, and uncertainty the followers of Jesus are embracing awe, fear of the Lord, and hope (commanded expectations). Mature Christian believers all do not hold that there are specific activities and works (e.g., church attendance; door to door ministry; regular Bible study; tithing) that are to be performed up to the time of his appearing (we also say, the Advent; the first resurrection; the harvesting from the earth of those belonging to Christ; the Second Coming); and many discern that there is an ongoing spiritual struggle against disbelief, sin, and wickedness. All developing Christians are commanded to maintain a lifestyle and daily routines that display repentance, respect, and vigilance. The works carried out by believers are not to earn or secure their own salvation so much as to express gratitude; to further build up, edify, and spiritually nourish the body of believers; and to share the things from GOD with others. By their works believers give evidence of Christ in the life, and continue the actualities of faith, divine law, and sacred possibilities as well as eternal purpose, promise, and prophecy. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

(1.) Romans 12: 1-2, King James Version (KJV): 1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

(2.) 2nd Timothy 1: 7, KJV: 7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

(3.) Ephesians 2: 8-10, KJV: 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

(4.) James 2: 18-20, KJV: 18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. 19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. 20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?

Today, the reply is on why the Scriptures are held to be difficult and offensive among some atheists and disbelievers. For developing Christian believers the holy writings are challenging because the Scriptures also should be thought of and dealt with as an appearance and manifestation of divinity that is simple yet profound. Why do atheists hate the Word of the Lord?

Atheists claim to follow reason, yet they ignore reason when it comes to the fact that God exists and Jesus died for everyone’s sins. The Bible says that God exists, so it must be true, otherwise why would millions of freedom loving Christians follow Christ so much?

Morality comes directly from Christianity, through the teachings of Jesus. Yet atheists deny morality in favour of drugs, unmarried sex, homosexuality, murder, and other things. If anything, Atheists have rejected God in favour of immorality, so that they can feel “free” (which they obviously aren’t, since God loves each and everyone of us, and God gave us morals).

Why don’t they want moral Christians to tell them how to live your lives in a better way? Why don’t they want moral Christians to establish God’s Rule in politics?

What is it about morality that offends them? What is it about the better way that moral Christians offer them that offends them?

Why are they so delusional? Why do they hate morality so much? Why do they wish death on we the faithful?

Anonymous”, you may find this godly counsel: Many resent being labeled as “sinners” and regarded as somehow deficient because they have made no adult or mature study of the Bible, and because they lack both the sacred knowledge and rebirth as a vessel of Spirit that the holy writings are intended to nourish. Atheists refuse to accept that mankind on the earth is to be permanently changed and transformed by actions and operations of divine fullness (we say, Deity; the GODhead; the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit). Dismissing the truth of GOD as an aspect of human experience past, present and future, such thinkers can not correctly apprehend the fullness of Creation, the range of divine possibilities displayed and shared by mankind, and the integrity mankind is to maintain in order to exist as more than a brute beast or savage animal.

The Scriptures gradually become open to those who acknowledge themselves capable of being in a continuing relationship with GOD as vessels who have received divine substance. Through water baptism (i.e., the death, burial, and resurrection of ones inborn spirit), a sinner becomes “born again” and receives a fresh endowment of life essence (we say, breath; spirit; word) from the makeup of Deity. Included are faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, personhood, righteousness, wisdom, and wrath against sin. Those who are born again must “grow up again” and become mature as the offspring and heirs of GOD living on the earth until the Advent of Jesus Christ (we also say, his appearing; the harvest; the Rapture; the Second Coming). amenable to the existence, process, and eternal purposes of GOD.

Many fail to receive blessing by the Scriptures because what the seek is by and from the flesh. The finite tools of human imagination, intellect, logic, philosophy, carnal reason, secular knowledge and science cannot replace or surpass the provision of spirit substance from the makeup of GOD. In the same way a person’s own consciousness, thoughts and self-will are important along with their material and physical body to their having or feeling completeness, the spirit aspect within the living also is important to our existing as complete and whole. Developing believers will be edified and grow in their relationship with divinity by practicing discernment, discovery, fellowship with other believers, prayer, regular study of the Scriptures, and unselfish service. Like others on the earth, believers may experience times of disappointment, hardship, reversals, sorrow, and suffering. While there are many assurances and promises from GOD written in the Scriptures that comfort a believer, there also are calls to duty, exhortations, urging and warnings intended to spark immediate action, godliness, obedience, and vigilance.

What Must I Do

 

Today, reply is on being “born again” and “growing up again” with corrections for backsliding, rather than having to offer “the sinners prayer” multiple times.  Even among Christian believers, there are many occasions when errors and sins of ignorance are committed.  Therefore, the process of salvation should not be thought of as a “one-time” event; salvation is active and ongoing (1st Corinthians 10:  12, King James Version (KJV):  12 Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.)  Recovery from errors as the offspring and heirs of divinity through Jesus Christ is more the result of humbling oneself and an abiding spiritual condition of sorrowing for sin than an outcome from multiple confessions and “talks with GOD.”  Sin has not been eliminated by the death of Christ on the cross, and sin will continue to challenge believers until its final destruction through the second death.  With this in view, believers are commanded to maintain vigilance against the operations of sin; and even mature Christians can not account themselves as perfected, sanctified, completely transformed, and no longer subject to sin through the power of their own will.  A fighter in the “Yahoo! “Will”, there must be actions that provide substance to our words.  There is no single set of words that are to be repeated and spoken like a magic spell that will erase sin from our lives.  Thus, “the sinners prayer” must be created and “made up” in the moment as the Spirit gives utterance.  Here are some ideas that have made a great difference for Christian believers:

Many have tried to eliminate and remove the operations of sin from their lives by relying on finite human tools such as emotion, intelligence, logic, carnal reason, philosophy, and science.  However, sin is more than simply an outcome or result from education, thinking, and feeling—thus, there also are doctoral degree holders and scientists who are sinners.  Sin may dominate consciousness and self-will within created beings and living creatures, yet, sin is not a spirit substance, and is no object or thing created by GOD.  Sin opposes the continued existence of divine law, the Lawgiver, and the full universe that appears through divine order.  Without divine law and the operations of ones inner life essence (we also say, breath, spirit, Word), sin is not discerned and recognized as contrary to the character and makeup of mankind.  Therefore, sin is approved and indulged by sinners as “natural”, “normal”, and unavoidable. 

Sinners must undergo permanent changes through operations of the Holy Spirit that include the death, burial, and resurrection of their inborn spirit.  Once “born again” having divine DNA, so to speak, the sinner will exist as a developing believer who must “grow up again” facing the same “growing pains,” life challenges, hardships, and suffering as others on the earth.  As a new creation through Jesus Christ, the believer must apply and display sacred knowledge in place of secular knowledge, along with inseparable aspects of divine fullness such as faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, oneness without sameness, righteousness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.

Among other things, the life of the developing believer will be transformed through discovery, gradual growth, praise, regular prayer, practice of sacraments, continual study of the holy writings, and unselfish service.  The believer must become mature (ripe) for harvest when the Lord returns to claim those who are his from the earth (we say, Advent, his appearing, the Rapture, the Second Coming).  Just as believers now are being examined in judgment before that day, and are totally dependent on the operations of GOD, believers cannot rely on self-will (their own willpower), and are dependent on the sovereign will of GOD that is not subject to sin.  Consider the following that uses language from the Bible:

(1.)  Matthew 10:  19-20, King James Version (KJV):  19 But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak:  for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak.  20 For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.

(2.)  Romans 8:  26-27, KJV:  26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities:  for we know not what we should pray for as we ought:  but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.  27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

(3.)  Luke 18:  9-14, KJV:  9 And he spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others:  10 Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican.  11 The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.  12 I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.  13 And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.  14 I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other:  for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

Anonymous”, one of the simplest points of truth regarding Jesus—that also seems to be the most challenged, the most denied, and the most overlooked—is that he lives!  Like the tribes of Jacob and the mixed multitude (Gentiles) who left with Moses, who survived the slaying of the first born, who walked through the walls of water at the Red Sea, and who later behaved as disbelieving, faithless and skeptical, many today, who are not continuous in the fellowship, work and worship within the church community are quick to forget the accounts of Christ’s resurrection and return to heaven.  More than this, they usually are unaware of the rich promises and prophecies shared to prepare mankind for the Savior coming to harvest the earth.

Those who are “born again” also must “grow up again,” and as developing believers they are to display spirit content from the makeup of GOD (e.g., faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, wisdom, wrath against sin) and maintain vigilance.  Because many respond to the true teachings shared by the church with fear, resentment, and spiritual confusion, the eternal life of Jesus is often dismissed along with his participation in the fullness of divinity (we say, the GODhead; the Father, the Son, and The Holy Spirit).

Where Jesus Christ appeared earlier as prophet, servant, healer, and teacher, he is next to appear as Judge, High Priest, Savior, and King.  The Advent of Jesus (also called, his appearing, “the Day of the Lord,” the Rapture, and the Second Coming) is a sacred event that must occur for the completion of ongoing divine judgment, revelation, and new creation.   Those who are ripe (i.e., spiritually mature) and belong to Christ will be taken from the earth.  Those who have died will be restored to life in what is called the first resurrection, and will “meet him in the air” with the living who are his followers.  Those who are left behind must be taken up in a second resurrection that focuses on judgment of the wicked and the final elimination of sin.

Today, reply is on delaying ones decision for or against Christ as your Redeemer and Savior.  For mankind, salvation must be over time through discovery, gradual growth, learning, and regeneration.  There must be the extinguishing of old habits, lusts, and vanities while acquiring a new lifestyle that continually acknowledges divinity through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.  A personal relationship of oneness without sameness must be achieved that displays such elements as acknowledgement, commitment, confession, discernment, endurance, forbearance, forgiveness, shared vulnerability, risk-taking, suffering, and triumph.  All sinners correctly may be spoken of as being in a steady decline whereby they never again will be able to display the image of GOD, or contain any endowment from the makeup of the Creator (i.e., breath, spirit, word), and so will be examined for their utter destruction (the second death).  By contrast, believers will be built up and edified to exist as immortal, incorruptible vessels of divine substance, joint heirs with Christ, and the sons and daughters of GOD.  The fighter at “Yahoo! “LiveLong, and Prosper,” the Creator and sovereign GOD we speak of is also a god of judgment.  Properly understood, the divine process for salvation from the destruction that comes by judgment is timeless, was begun before the foundations of heaven and earth, and will continue indefinitely.  Given the brief duration and short lifespan of created beings and living creatures (only GOD is eternal, immortal, and incorruptible), the human process and finite tools relied upon by the living (e.g., emotions, intellect, logic, philosophy, secular knowledge, science) have limited meaning and value because of the frameworks of time, space, and social consensus.  Just as self-will (willpower) responds to desire appearing as action and discrete events, consciousness may serve as a focus for patterns and regularities governed by natural or spiritual law.  Included are birth, aging, death, commitment, conviction, faith, rebirth, repentance, and zeal.

Sinners are being called to an eternal life where they will exist permanently as close companions of divinity.  They must receive deposits and fresh endowments of spirit content from the make up of GOD such as faith, holiness, joy, longsuffering, lovingkindness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.  While their transformation begins using water baptism (death and burial of their inborn spirit, resurrection having divine DNA, so to speak), all those who are “born again” also must “grow up again” and become mature through life experience on the earth that includes fellowship with others, praise and prayer, study of the holy writings as well as ministry and unselfish service.  Believers all go through a period of “getting to know” GOD, display their own content and makeup to GOD, and, thereby, increasingly grow in acceptance, affection, gratitude, respect, reverence, and full relationship as offspring of the Holy.

Despite that many things from GOD will continue as ongoing, endless, and everlasting, aspects of the divine process for salvation include determination (having a “made-up mind”), duty (accountability for completion of specific tasks), immediacy (insisting that now is the time), imperative (that some tasks absolutely must be done and are mandatory), interdependence (what one believer does is joined to the deeds of others as well as the acts of divinity), and vigilance.  To encourage believers to prepare themselves and remain in constant readiness, we are told there will definitely be an end to things as we know them, however, we are not told a definite day or hour.  Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

(1.)  Hebrews 3:  7-19, King James Version (KJV):  7 Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his voice,  8 Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness:  9 When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years.  10 Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do alway err in their heart; and they have not known my ways.  11 So I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.)  12 Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.  13 But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.  14 For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;  15 While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.  16 For some, when they had heard, did provoke:  howbeit not all that came out of Egypt by Moses.  17 But with whom was he grieved forty years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness?  18 And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not?  19 So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.

(2.)  1st Thessalonians 5:  1-3, KJV:  1 But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.  2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.  3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

(3.)  2nd Peter 3:  9-13, KJV:  9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.  10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.  11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,  12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?  13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

Today, points are shared on believing and being fruitful as followers of Christ.  Even though, during times of celebration cautions, reminders, and warnings often are dismissed as unwelcome, those who are born again must continue discernment, sound judgment, and vigilance in all places, at all times.  Because sinners want to speak “after the flesh” (i.e., according to what we know and understand by using carnal reason and our senses of hearing, seeing, touching, etc.) using secular knowledge, they think and speak of sin as being only disobedient actions, bad behavior, and forbidden conduct.  However, mature Christian believers acknowledge that sin also must be understood in terms of the attitudes, desires, and thoughts that proceed from a person’s inner nature.  Thus, transgressing the law of GOD includes applying definitions that are incomplete and unbiblical; embracing false assumptions; indulging hopes that are false and vain (lacking sacred content); lying and practicing deceit; “taking things for granted;” and presumption.  At a time when many are expressing heartfelt thanks with family and friends, we are to consider again the divine motives, sacred operations, and eternal purposes that make us who we are:  Proverbs 23:  6-8, King James Version (KJV):  6 Eat thou not the bread of him that hath an evil eye, neither desire thou his dainty meats:  7 For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he:  Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.  8 The morsel which thou hast eaten shalt thou vomit up, and lose thy sweet words.  The fighter at “Yahoo! “Tyrone”, many say they “believe”, however, what they are speaking of only makes a difference as a personal and private concern focused upon “me, myself, and I.”  The kind of belief in GOD that makes a difference to others (we also say, makes a believer fruitful) is what we probably should call “continuing awareness.”  There are other names for it, including alertness, commitment, exclusive devotion, discernment (i.e., the ability to recognize and respond to spirit substance from the makeup of GOD as it appears within events, oneself, other persons, prophecy, the holy writings, etc.), dutifulness, faithfulness, fidelity, integrity, unselfish service, vigilance, and zeal.  The operations of sin may dominate awareness and self-will in created beings and living creatures.  Sin opposes the continued existence of divine law, the Law Giver, and all divine order generated through sacred law. 

Many people, today, would describe “belief” and “faith” as what you exercise when you drive the car while your gas gauge is on empty.  Saying this another way:  the choice to ride an elevator to the 15th floor might not be deliberate (we say, can be made unconsciously).  We get into the car without a thought of falling or getting stuck between floors.  We might silently wait for the door to open, and never doubt or question that our foot will land on a solid platform of flooring.  In that and many similar situations, we “assume” that there’s no risk, and that we are safe (i.e., use an untested idea as though it were true; do not identify the connected and hidden ideas that also are active, present, and “unseen”; suspend requirements for formal evidence, examination, and proof to establish facts).  Many also call such unthinking acceptance “trust”.

Correctly understood, “belief” appears as an outcome or result from permanent changes made by divinity within a person’s character, makeup, and substance.  Through the ministries of Jesus Christ upon the earth, and from the heaven, sinners may receive a fresh endowment of the same life essence (we say, breath, spirit, word) that was granted to Adam and to Jesus living Incarnate (in flesh) as the Son of Man.  For Christian belief to appear in the life, inseparable aspects from the divine makeup of GOD must be in place such as faith, forbearance, forgiveness, gratitude, holiness, humility, longsuffering, lovingkindness, meekness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, such finite human tools as emotion, imagination, intellect, logic, philosophy, science, and technology have not been enough to eliminate sin as an influence in a person’s life.  Only a solution from GOD may completely, correctly and permanently end the problem of sin.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today, the discussion that sin must be personal is continued focusing on the teaching that sins should be dismissed, forgotten, and relegated to the past (we hear, cast into the sea of forgetfulness).  Believers are to be made “awake” by the cross, be witnesses to transfiguration, and be granted sight to operate with awe, humility, repentance, and heartfelt love.  Life is transformed to be eternal, and unforgettable.  Many say “sin” to speak of a disruptive condition, and peculiar patterns of dysfunctional attitude and behavior that negatively influence human affairs.  For Christian believers, sin is the transgression of divine law, and is an interruption of divine affairs that include healthy relationship between Creator and created.  Sin is not alive, discriminating, and selective; and may appear at once as methodical, random, and not well-thought-out.  Despite collusion and conspiracy, sin results in distrust, division, isolation, and separation.  Sinners must make a personal response to “own, and own-up-to” their sins that include careful reflection, clearing of ones conscience, decision-making, expressions of emotion, and systematic preparation for undesired consequences and problems.  Forgiving oneself is as much an aspect of accepting divine forgiveness as becoming “born again” and accepting identity as a new creation.  Through the accomplishments of Jesus Christ for atonement, mercy, reconciliation, and redemption, sin is transformed to serve as a continuing focus for change, development, growth, and learning, rather than an unchanging source of anxiety, condemnation, depression, dishonor, guilt, and shame.  The operations of sin become visible only through life experiences that violate covenant and relationship with divinity.  Sin opposes the continued existence of divine law, and has no form or substance as an ordinary object in Creation.  The presence of sin operates as an influence upon awareness and self-will within created beings and living creatures, however, sin can not direct, dominate, or manipulate the will of GOD.

THE BATTLE AXE:  Sin Must Be Personal (04/29/2016)—Among those practicing alchemy and science, it once was thought that lead could be changed to gold using the Philosopher’s Stone.  Among those observing sacred practices as Christian believers (e.g., church attendance, prayer, worship), it should be correctly understood that the meaning and value of sin—that can not be eliminated or removed from their lives using finite tools such as intellect, logic, politics, and technology—can be altered by faith that is founded upon the Rock.  Even so, among the disciples and followers of Jesus Christ, many feel that, once they have become baptized, their sin confessed, or multiple prayers for forgiveness and mercy have been offered, all their accountability and duty regarding their sins have been fully discharged.  Such persons will even cling to vain hopes (i.e., expectations that derive from carnal, material, and social activity, rather than the sacred content of doctrine, events, persons, divine promises, or prophecy) and the common error that “new life” in Christ means they now may return to the old associations and practices that entangled them in sin having authority, being able to gain greater benefit, and being completely in charge.  Believers are to know that sin is characterized by deceit, exaggerated pride, and selfishness.  The “reach of sin” extends across the frameworks of time and space in such a way that, even the death of the sinner does not end or remove the ongoing consequences, effects, and influence of their sins.  Saying this another way, without divine intercession, judgment, and the second death, the damage, ruin, and upheaval caused by their sin while the sinner lived could continue for eternity.  In addition to atonement, then, there must be rebirth, resurrection, perfection, and sanctification.  Believers should be unafraid to face, recall, examine, and continually resist their sin with an eye to their goal of becoming ripe for harvest at the coming of the Lord.  Believers are to celebrate the victory of Christ over their own and the sins of others, and take strength as they continue upon the earth being yet challenged, confronted and drawn by various offenses.  The memory of sin, its agony, humiliation and pain, are to exhort and spur a believer in their efforts to deliver and encourage others, to express heartfelt gratitude to GOD, and to display true humility as the offspring of the Most High.  In the light of divine love, as in the light from the cross, the past is no cause or source of bitterness, depression, fear, and uncertainty.  The past is a tool for enlightenment.  Eternal life will always have its origins in the past, and the past has been given as the frame that is anchoring our future.  Consider again how this is stated using language from the Bible:

(1.)  Proverbs 16:  4-6, King James Version (KJV):  4 The LORD hath made all things for himself:  yea, even the wicked for the day of evil.  5 Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to the LORDthough hand join in hand, he shall not be unpunished.  6 By mercy and truth iniquity is purged:  and by the fear of the LORD men depart from evil.

(2.)  1st Corinthians 6:  9-11, KJV:  9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived:   neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,  10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.  11 And such were some of you:  but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

(3.)  Genesis 28:  15-17, KJV:  15 And, behold, I am with thee, and will keep thee in all places whither thou goest, and will bring thee again into this land; for I will not leave thee, until I have done that which I have spoken to thee of.  16 And Jacob awaked out of his sleep, and he said, Surely the LORD is in this place; and I knew it not.  17 And he was afraid, and said, How dreadful is this place! this is none other but the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven.

(4.)  1st Corinthians 15:  33-34, KJV:  33 Be not deceived:  evil communications corrupt good manners.  34 Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God:  I speak this to your shame.

(5.)  Numbers 32:  23, KJV:  23 But if ye will not do so, behold, ye have sinned against the LORD:  and be sure your sin will find you out.

(6.)  1st Corinthians 15:  50-54, KJV:  50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.  51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,  52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump:  for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.  53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.  54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

(7.)  Ephesians 5:  13-15, KJV:  13 But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light:  for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.  14 Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.  15 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,  16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.  17 Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.
