Today, reply is on some of the ways prophecies are used in divine process. One of the fighters in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion and Spirituality who uses the ID “Blue Ridge” (Level 1 with 7 points, a member since January 05, 2019) posted the following:

Bible Prophecies Fulfilled?

Old Testament prophecies concerning the coming of the Messiah were fulfilled by Christ to the smallest possible detail. What makes you think the remaining prophecies will not come to pass, even if all remaining prophecies occur after our death?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ; or, lo, he is there; believe him not: For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect. But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things. But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken. And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory. And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven. (Mark 13: 21-27, King James Version, KJV)

Blue Ridge”, here are some thoughts many of us overlook that I would like to share on the use of prophecies by GOD, signs, and the process of divinity to maintain created beings and living creatures in ongoing relationship. Prophecy is about proclaiming divine prerogative; sacred intent; eternal purpose; and the revelation of divinity that makes GOD knowable, known, accessible, and approachable along with the otherwise invisible, sovereign will of GOD. Many developing Christians continue the error that prophecy is about foretelling human events, and predicting future actions that will be taken by divinity. Mature Christian believers acknowledge that prophecy, like sacred law, is the expression of the will of GOD, and therefore, an appearance of the active presence who is divine fullness. Prophecy from divinity may serve as admonition or warning; assurance; instruction; a pledge or oath; an evidence or earnest (down-payment) that promise will be fulfilled; a memorial; a testimony; and as witness in divine judgment. The process of prophecy often uses prophetic demonstrations carried out by anointed spokespersons. Also, the completion and fulfillment of specific actions or events may be requested from GOD by a believer (e.g., a king; a priest; a mother who will give birth to a prophet) that then will serve as indicators and signs that a major prophecy definitely will be fulfilled although there might be a long waiting period. Signs are not expiration dates, nor do they show an exact day or hour for a prophecy to be completed. Even so, they are deliberate and willful responses by GOD. Many of those prophecies we speak of as fulfilled, in fact, have been signs that certify the unfilled prophecies are authentic, and genuine operations from divinity. Consider again the following that uses examples found in the Bible:

1. Joshua 4: 5-7, King James Version (KJV): 5 And Joshua said unto them, Pass over before the ark of the LORD your God into the midst of Jordan, and take you up every man of you a stone upon his shoulder, according unto the number of the tribes of the children of Israel: 6 That this may be a sign among you, that when your children ask their fathers in time to come, saying, What mean ye by these stones? 7 Then ye shall answer them, That the waters of Jordan were cut off before the ark of the covenant of the LORD; when it passed over Jordan, the waters of Jordan were cut off: and these stones shall be for a memorial unto the children of Israel for ever.

2. Isaiah 7: 10-15, KJV: 10 Moreover the LORD spake again unto Ahaz, saying, 11 Ask thee a sign of the LORD thy God; ask it either in the depth, or in the height above. 12 But Ahaz said, I will not ask, neither will I tempt the LORD. 13 And he said, Hear ye now, O house of David; Is it a small thing for you to weary men, but will ye weary my God also? 14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. 15 Butter and honey shall he eat, that he may know to refuse the evil, and choose the good.

3. Isaiah 38: 4-8, KJV: 4 Then came the word of the LORD to Isaiah, saying, 5 Go, and say to Hezekiah, Thus saith the LORD, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will add unto thy days fifteen years. 6 And I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria: and I will defend this city. 7 And this shall be a sign unto thee from the LORD, that the LORD will do this thing that he hath spoken; 8 Behold, I will bring again the shadow of the degrees, which is gone down in the sun dial of Ahaz, ten degrees backward. So the sun returned ten degrees, by which degrees it was gone down.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 4. 1st Corinthians 14: 1-5, KJV: 1 Follow after charity, and desire spiritual gifts, but rather that ye may prophesy. 2 For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries. 3 But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort. 4 He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself; but he that prophesieth edifieth the church. 5 I would that ye all spake with tongues but rather that ye prophesied: for greater is he that prophesieth than he that speaketh with tongues, except he interpret, that the church may receive edifying.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

Scripture points are shared, today, to cancel the idea that “faith” and “God” are undefined, and may be described in accordance with ones personal experience, hidden mysteries, or private knowledge of divinity.  The fighter at “Yahoo! How would you describe God?

I think with God, you get what you put in. If you put in love – you will view God as love. If you put in sin – you will view God as destructive. If you put in justice – you will view God as justice. If you put in sacrifice – you will view God as joy. If you put in mercy – you will view God as mercy and if you put in compassion you will view God as compassion.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Moreover the LORD answered Job, and said,  Shall he that contendeth with the Almighty instruct him? he that reproveth God, let him answer it.  Then Job answered the LORD, and said,  Behold, I am vile; what shall I answer thee? I will lay mine hand upon my mouth.  Once have I spoken; but I will not answer:  yea, twice; but I will proceed no further.  Then answered the LORD unto Job out of the whirlwind, and said,  Gird up thy loins now like a man:  I will demand of thee, and declare thou unto me.  Wilt thou also disannul my judgment? wilt thou condemn me, that thou mayest be righteous?  Hast thou an arm like God? or canst thou thunder with a voice like him?  Deck thyself now with majesty and excellency; and array thyself with glory and beauty.  Cast abroad the rage of thy wrath:  and behold every one that is proud, and abase him.  Look on every one that is proud, and bring him low; and tread down the wicked in their place.  Hide them in the dust together; and bind their faces in secret.  Then will I also confess unto thee that thine own right hand can save thee.  (Job 40:  1-14, KJV)

“Breakthrough”, many expect to know GOD by using finite tools such as enticement, imagination, intellect, logic, money, philosophy, politics, promises, science, and even sexual favor.  However, created beings and living creatures do not need to “make believe,” guess, or speculate.  There is a specific, reliable source among the living that may be trusted for sacred knowledge that provides complete and correct information on the character, makeup, nature, process, and substance of divinity.  Called the Gospel, prophecy, revelation, testimony, witness, and the Word, mature Christian believers rely upon the record of utterances from Deity that serve as a “divine self-portrait” emanated using thousands of sacred events, within thousands of lives, over the course of thousands of years.  Consider again the following:

(1.)  Hebrews 11:  1-6, King James Version (KJV):  11 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.  2 For by it the elders obtained a good report.  3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.  4 By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.  5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him:  for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.  6 But without faith it is impossible to please him:  for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

(2.)  Exodus 3:  15, KJV:  15 And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, the LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you:  this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations.

(3.)  Exodus 6:  2-4, KJV:  2 And God spake unto Moses, and said unto him, I am the LORD:  3 And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name JEHOVAH was I not known to them.  4 And I have also established my covenant with them, to give them the land of Canaan, the land of their pilgrimage, wherein they were strangers.

(4.)  Exodus 34:  6-8, KJV:  6 And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth,  7 Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children’s children, unto the third and to the fourth generation.  8 And Moses made haste, and bowed his head toward the earth, and worshipped.

(5.)  2nd Timothy 3:  16, KJV:  16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

(6.)  John 4:  23-24, KJV:  23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth:   for the Father seeketh such to worship him.  24 God is a Spirit:   and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

(7.)  1st John 5:  9-11, KJV:  9 If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater:  for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son.  10 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself:  he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.  11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.

There is far more to be said, correctly understood, and spiritually taken into account.  (For example, (8.)  Isaiah 63:  15-16, KJV:  15 Look down from heaven, and behold from the habitation of thy holiness and of thy glory:  where is thy zeal and thy strength, the sounding of thy bowels and of thy mercies toward me? are they restrained?  16 Doubtless thou art our father, though Abraham be ignorant of us, and Israel acknowledge us not:  thou, O LORD, art our father, our redeemer; thy name is from everlasting.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today, points are shared on the Ark of the Testimony, Noah’s Ark, and idols.  The Ark provided to Israel was a sacred object that, like the full tabernacle, was fashioned after the pattern of things in heaven.  Even before the death of King Saul, David was forced to depend upon prophets, seers, visions and his own prayer life for guidance from GOD.  Saul killed Ahimelech and decimated the priesthood when he thought David was being  concealed and supported in Nob.  At Ziklag, David had an ephod and the sword of Goliath, yet, not the full regalia of the High Priest.  David was especially distressed following such incidents as the death of Absalom, the death of Uriah the Hittite, and the death of his and Bathsheba’s infant son.  David became determined to erect a permanent place (temple) for both the High Priest and the Ark further hoping he could be made completely reconciled with GOD.  A writer at “Yahoo! Answers” using the ID “Catherine Tanya Geer” (Level 1 with 114 points, a member since November 14, 2014) posted the following:

The ark of the covenant ensured winning of wars, what was in the ark ofn the covenant?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  And thou shalt put the staves into the rings by the sides of the ark, that the ark may be borne with them.  The staves shall be in the rings of the ark:  they shall not be taken from it.  And thou shalt put into the ark the testimony which I shall give thee.  And thou shalt make a mercy seat of pure gold:  two cubits and a half shall be the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof.  And thou shalt make two cherubims of gold, of beaten work shalt thou make them, in the two ends of the mercy seat.  And make one cherub on the one end, and the other cherub on the other end:  even of the mercy seat shall ye make the cherubims on the two ends thereof.  And the cherubims shall stretch forth their wings on high, covering the mercy seat with their wings, and their faces shall look one to another; toward the mercy seat shall the faces of the cherubims be.  And thou shalt put the mercy seat above upon the ark; and in the ark thou shalt put the testimony that I shall give thee.  And there I will meet with thee, and I will commune with thee from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubims which are upon the ark of the testimony, of all things which I will give thee in commandment unto the children of Israel.  (Exodus 25:  14-22, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Not Images Used in Worship? (09/14/2014); Death is a Divine Tool (09/15/2014); The Place of GOD? (06/01/2013); Putting GOD First? (06/02/2013); A Second Adam? (03/25/2013); GOD Hiding in Plain Sight (03/26/2013); The Golden Age? (01/10/2013); Translation, Please… (01/11/2013)

“Catherine Tanya Geer”, the way you posed your question demonstrated the error that appeared among many in Israel, and led to the Ark of the Covenant being permanently removed from the Tabernacle at Shiloh.  Consider the following points:

(1.)  An idol, graven image, or molten image (from rocks melted to extract metal) is any man-made object or thing adorned, chosen and worshiped as containing life and divinity.  The object does not see, hear, smell, talk or walk, yet is believed to have power to bestow benefits, and to respond to petitions and prayers.

(2.)  In the holy writings, the ark of Noah is not the same as the Ark of Covenant, yet, both function as a storage chest used to preserve and protect special gifts and memorials from divinity (we might say, sacred relics and souvenirs).  Noah’s ark was not a boat that one could steer or use for commerce and travel upon the sea.  It was to contain the law of GOD incarnate (within flesh) through Noah and his family along with the other living creatures that were to survive the flood.

(3.)  The Ark of Covenant is also called “the ark of the testimony.”  A “testimony” is a statement made under oath during judgment (we say, a sworn statement; the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth), and therefore has equal weight as lawful evidence with such other material as eyewitness accounts, expert witness (by authoritative professionals who are doctors, scholars, etc.) ballistic evidence, fabrics or finger prints).  Here, the testimony is in witness to the revelation of Jehovah to Israel; and false statements register as blasphemy against all divinity.

There is far more to be said, correctly understood, and properly apprehended.  For example, (4.)  The Ark was only to be moved using poles, and no human hand was to touch it.  Above the ark of the testimony was a platform (we would say, seat or throne).  The active presence of GOD was believed to upon this throne (called the Mercy Seat) that was located within a special compartment of the tabernacle called the Holiest of Holies (also called, the Sanctuary).  When Israel was threatened with destruction by the Philistines, and GOD would not respond to the pleadings and prayers of King Saul, on the night before battle, the monarch became desperate to the point of asking a witch to call up the spirit of the dead prophet, Samuel who had always been his guide.  The ark was carried out to the battlefield to foster the confidence of Israel’s fighters.  However, this forced the Philistines to fight as those who were frantic, hopeless, and had nothing to lose.

(5.)  The Ark was captured by the Philistines, and Saul and his son, the friend of David, were both slain.  After enduring diseases sent from GOD, the Philistines returned the Ark to Israel with an offering to Jehovah.  When the people rushed to look into the Ark, thousands were killed, before the Ark could be returned to the tabernacle.  For a long time the Ark remained outside the tabernacle on the land of a local farmer (we say, in his barn or threshing floor).  When David saw the man’s family and farm were blessed he sought to bring the Ark to himself at Jerusalem.  However, a worker sought to steady the Ark by reaching out with his hands, and was slain by Jehovah.  David was awe struck.  Again the Ark was separated from the tabernacle and from Jerusalem, where David intended it should rest within a new temple.  The entire system for communion, exchange and specific guidance from GOD was suspended while the Ark was away including the lot, Urim, Thumim, and the regalia of the High Priest.  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith and spiritual maturity.

Divine provisions to protect believers upon the earth are the topic, today.  A fighter at “Yahoo! Answers Canada” using the ID “badwolf” (Level 1 with 10 points, a member since August 01, 2014) posted the following:

Why doesnt jesus or god ,offer any protection against evil..in fact believing attracts it?

THE BATTLE AXE:  The Power to Forgive? (10/01/2014)—(5.)  Anyone and everyone may express forgiveness toward others; however, like the work of divine healing, the work of divine forgiveness is not for those outside of Christ.  The work of forgiveness as an aspect of judgment is not complete without atonement.  Only those divinely appointed may forgive in the name of Jesus, and as incarnations (i.e., appearance in flesh) of the Most High.  Divine forgiveness is able to establish the person forgiven in a newness of life, renew trust, and refresh shared relationships among believers, because divine being and sacred matter from the makeup of GOD will be deposited and transferred.  Apostles, prophets and those in roles as anointed agents and consecrated spokespersons of GOD are permitted by GOD and Jesus Christ to proclaim and speak official decisions, divine judgments, and sacred messages.  In general, those serving as ordained clergy also acknowledge differences among the gifts granted from GOD, and hierarchy for duty and privilege as well as the need for special experience, sacred knowledge and preparation to correctly carry out and complete many of the peculiar assignments believers are given as priests and kings.  A believer does not himself (or herself) perform the sacred operations that are required so much as they monitor and witness to the active presence of GOD.  Thus, the Holy Spirit serving as the agent of Jesus is to be credited with accomplishing the many duties believers are challenged to embrace such as baptism, enduring tests and trials, forgiveness, the Lord’s Supper, exorcism, intercession, praise, and prayer.  Consider again Leviticus 5:  14-19, Numbers 15:  22-31, 1st Kings 8:  38-40, Psalms 86:  4-6, Matthew 6:  14-15, Matthew 12:  30-32, Luke 7:  36-50, John 20:  22-23 and 1st Corinthians 12:  27-31, KJV.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Therefore the heart of the king of Syria was sore troubled for this thing; and he called his servants, and said unto them, Will ye not shew me which of us is for the king of Israel?  And one of his servants said, None, my lord, O king:  but Elisha, the prophet that is in Israel, telleth the king of Israel the words that thou speakest in thy bedchamber.  And he said, Go and spy where he is, that I may send and fetch him. And it was told him, saying, Behold, he is in Dothan.  Therefore sent he thither horses, and chariots, and a great host:  and they came by night, and compassed the city about.  And when the servant of the man of God was risen early, and gone forth, behold, an host compassed the city both with horses and chariots. And his servant said unto him, Alas, my master! how shall we do?  And he answered, Fear not:  for they that be with us are more than they that be with them.  And Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw:  and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.  (2nd Kings 6:  11-17, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Lot and the Angels (05/04/2014); Expulsion from Eden (05/05/2014); Needing Guns To Serve? (03/19/2014); A Culture of Judgment? (03/20/2014); What Salvation Is (01/25/2014); Bible Justice? (01/26/2014); A Godly Take on Guns (01/18/2013); It Is Finished (01/19/2013)

“badwolf”, here are a few points to consider that add strength to developing Christian believers:

(1.)  There are multiple provisions from GOD for the spiritual nourishment and protection of believers.  Intimate relationship with GOD is called a high tower, a refuge, and is spoken of as the “armour of light” and the “whole armor of GOD.”  Believers are to exist in the same physical sphere as unbelievers, however, their awareness and self-will directed through the Spirit of GOD are transformed to face difficulties, overcome problems, and resist sin.

(2.)  Through baptism (death of ones inborn spirit, rebirth having sacred content from the makeup of divinity) believer’s receive a fresh endowment of the same material GOD bestowed when creating Adam.  Once born again, there must be continual growth and learning.  Believers are to mature, become perfected (i.e., immortal and incorruptible), and experience eternal life.  Through the imparted spirit (we say, breath, word), men are “made in the image of GOD.”

(3.)  Believers are not to be beggars, or those who wait on GOD to pour out good things while they themselves do nothing (we say, are passive).  Believers are to demonstrate creativity, energy, industry, intelligence, and zeal cooperating with the efforts of others who are also in fellowship with GOD through Jesus Christ.

There is far more to be said, correctly understood, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (4.)  In the same way both believers and unbelievers will get wet when it rains as a matter of the mechanics for how their physical environment must work, both believers and unbelievers are subject to automobile accidents, heat strokes, heart failure, flu, and death.  The difference is not their mortality; the difference is their hope, praise, prayer, proclamation, promise, prophecy, and sanctification.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Ceremonies and rituals for water baptism are a focus, today.  Also, there is more on language and spelling of terms appearing in the Scriptures.  A “Yahoo! Answers” writer using the ID “Big Mo” (Level 7 with 30,712 points, a member since November 15, 2008) posted the following:

THE BATTLE AXE:  Lower-case or Capital? (01/31/2014)—(5.)  Together, the breath from GOD and the material body are called, a living soul.  In addition to life essence and endowments of divinity from GOD deposited within mankind, angels, apparitions (we say, ghosts), idols, sacred beasts of heaven, and other created beings and living creatures are spoken of in the holy writings as “spirits”.  A phrase, “the spirit”, may be applied to demons and angels ousted from heaven, called evil, lying, and unclean spirits when they infest or reside within humans.  (6.)  Divine law embodies and manifests the will of GOD as the Law Giver who reigns above all the universe.  When speaking of the holy writings, the Ten Commandments, and  the divine law, “the letter” of the law is its application as limited, material, social and specific.  Focus upon “the spirit” of the law centers upon its benefits, its incarnation as divine substance, its intent, and its sacred purpose.  (7.)  Holy names and titles to specific functions, offices and roles used for speaking of GOD usually appear with the first letter capitalized (e.g., Almighty GOD, El Shaddai, the Eternal, the God of heaven, the God of Jacob, the most High).  Where “father” or “lord” appears with all capital letters, or a single full capital and small capitals the reference is most likely to GOD (e.g., LORD, and “the Father”).  Holy names and titles for Jesus may show the initial capital with lower-case letters, or may appear in all capital letters (such as Alpha and Omega, Lord, KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS, Messiah, Redeemer, Son of Man, Son of the Highest, the desire of all nations, the Lamb, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS).  To correctly recognize many of the holy names and titles, readers of the Scripture must continually use discernment, for names may appear with titles, titles may appear used as names, and some titles are shared (e.g., the arm of the LORD, the zeal of the LORD of hosts, the Highest, Saviour).  See Haggai 2:  7, Zechariah 13:  2, Matthew 10:  1, Matthew 14:  26, Luke 1:  46-48, Luke 11:  24-26 and John 4:  42, KJV.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  John to the seven churches which are in Asia:  Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne;  And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,  And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.  (Revelation 1:  4-6, KJV)

“Big Mo”, here are a few points that make sense to many Christian believers, and that make it possible to avoid the spiritual confusion of mockers and entrapment by the devil:

(1.)  The different forms and formulas used for water baptism are derived from specific statements in the holy writings that are held to be equally legitimate and valid.  While they vary in emphasis or inclusion of the full divine person and GODhead (we say, Father, Son, Holy Ghost), it remains that water baptism is a sacred event where flesh and spirit must become unified.

(2.)  Baptism is not correctly understood by all to be an entrance for believers, who are yet in flesh upon the earth, into the spheres of eternal life.  Physical aspects of endurance (we say, time and space) are replaced and transcended by a sacred framework.  The believer is established in a realm of consciousness determined by the birth, life, priesthood, death, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus Christ into the celestial presence (we say, heaven).  Those born again (having divine DNA, so to speak), must mature again.  At first, their personal truth and sacred truth agree only at points where, through growth, learning, unselfish service and worship, they later become one and the same.

There is far more to be said, properly shared, and spiritually understood.  (For example, (3.)  Only GOD may accomplish new life and rebirth in mankind.  This is done by the operations of the same Holy Spirit that appeared in Creation.  Flesh must cooperate and participate in baptism through self-will (we say, choice, willingness), and by witness (acknowledgement and recognition of the active presence of GOD).  The Scriptures do not contain specific laws or details for ceremonies and rituals of water baptism for followers of Christ.  As a result, each assembly or congregation has developed answers from the tenets of their faith, and the righteousness that would be in any such law.  Baptism is therefore a sacrament like the Lord’s Supper (called Communion) carried out to bond, and nourish the entire body of believers, not just the single individual.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Did I maybe just witness an Angel?

I was in a dead sleep. And while my eyes were closed I notice the room wasn’t as dark. I opened my eyes and I saw what I would call a ball of light on the ceiling. Looks something like a glowing star in a sky, just a very bright light. After 2 seconds of looking at it, I noticed it like shrunk (like going through a straw) then it disappeared. AT that time, it made this very loud popping noise or sound when it was disappearing. I’ve never had anything like that happen before. I was awake, so I know I wasn’t dreaming. Possible Angel? Ghost maybe?

I love how the atheists come in here and try to make trouble thinking people that experience these things are just smoking weed or doing drugs. Just do me a favor, don’t respond. I want valid responses of people with half a brain at least, later.

THE BATTLE AXE:  Another Gospel? (10/19/2013)—In the light of Christ, “FULLY human” means “immortal; incorruptible; no longer subject to death and sin; in right relationship with GOD.”  As the expression of our animal nature, mankind continually seeks excitement, novelty and sensation.  Yet, Christian believers are given a new life from GOD that requires they all minister the same sacred truth to others.  Believers are to impart spirit content in the home and the community as well as in the church by actions, not simply by words.  The work of spreading the Gospel is not only a matter of preaching, what we speak, and verbal behavior.  The Gospel also is to be ones way of life that makes Christ visible in all our living routines.  Others are to witness our growth and transformation from born again to perfection (we say, maturity), and the impact of an unchanging word is to be revealed (see Proverbs 3:  5-7, 14:  12 and 21:  2, also 2nd Corinthians 4:  1-11 and Ephesians 4:  11-16, KJV).  Because we pursue sharing the Gospel by adapting the message to different regions, multiple languages, and varying human conditions, maintaining the purity and simplicity of the Gospel can be lost sight of.  This is specially true where we seek to operate apart from either the written word, or the living Spirit of GOD.  As a result, the holy writings include cautions and warnings that believers stay alert and vigilant against drifting away from their own foundations recorded for them in the Scriptures (see 2nd Corinthians 11:  1-4, Mark:  14:  38, Ephesians 6:  10-20 and Colossians 2:  6-10, KJV)

THE GOLDEN ARROW:   For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?  And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.  And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.  But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever:  a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.  Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.  And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands:  They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment;  And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed:  but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail.  But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool?  Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?  (Hebrews 1:  5-14, KJV)

“GisherJohn”, here are a few points important to Christian believers that further shield us against spiritual confusion:

(1.)  The Holy Spirit is received through baptism, whereby believers are transformed (we say, born again, rebirth) having sacred substance (divine DNA, so to speak).  Inseparable aspects of eternal person are acquired that include faith, forbearance, forgiveness, gratitude, holiness, joy, longsuffering, love, truth, wisdom, and wrath against sin.  Born again, believers must “grow up” again by meeting the challenges of those in flesh upon the earth.  Believers become balanced, complete, and stable (we say, mature or perfected) only through divine operations that employ change, giving, growth, obedience, prayer, unselfish service, study, suffering, and worship.

(2.)  The imparted, indwelling Spirit from GOD now available through the ministry of Jesus Christ equips every believer to continually apply discernment (i.e., ability to use spiritual things to recognize other spiritual things).  It is in this sense that believers have an unction from GOD, and do not require outside advisers, guides, and teachers.

(3.)  Angels are spirit beings and living creatures, however, they are neither mortal nor immortal.  Generally, they do not seek contact with mankind unless dispatched as guides or messengers from GOD.  (In such cases, angels may assume human form and appear as men to avoid fostering doubt, spiritual confusion, and unbelief.)  Patterns for witness (i.e., how we are to behave and speak regarding our own experience) to angelic visitations are documented in Scripture.  Sacred events that men may hear or see have included proclamation, sightings of forms and similitudes as well as prophetic utterance (the messenger speaks directly to mortal beings).  More important than the messenger is the spirit content and divine purpose revealed through the message; and where there is no message, there is no cause for alarm or concern.

There is far more to be said, correctly understood, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (4.)  Men may hope for more than becoming angels.  Corruption (we say, sin) was first discovered among the holy angels, and has spread among mankind upon the earth.  As when cats die they automatically do not become dogs, when people die, they automatically do not become angels.  The salvation granted mankind through Jesus Christ is that sin will be totally removed from existence, and mankind will be made immortal and incorruptible.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Whether sanctification always requires that Jesus must appear to all that serve in apostleship and discipleship are considered, today.  Als0, there is more on law in Christian belief.  The “Yahoo! If Paul needed a personal visit from Jesus to know that Jesus was resurrected, then why wouldn’t you?

THE BATTLE AXE:  Law in Christian Belief? (09/02/2013)—(5.)  The identity of GOD as Sovereign, as Judge and as Creator is inseparable from the fixed, immutable will of GOD that we speak of as being divine law.  Many ignorantly oppose the existence of heavenly law as a device to escape divine wrath.  To such, no law means no judgment, and no judgment means no punishment.  No punishment means “free will” and license to indulge every imaginable desire and lust.  More than this, no law means no duty, no labor and necessary work as believers.  It remains that, because the law is the expressed will of GOD—conveys the being, intent and sacred purposes of GOD—to oppose divine law is sin that opposes the continued existence of GOD and of all that has been put forth as divine Creation.  While the law does not save one from sin, or eliminate and erase sin, the law does provide direction, order and structure that are needed to fully apprehend eternal life.  See Psalms 119:  1-176 and Galatians 2:  15-21, King James Version.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;  By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.  For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;  And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:  And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve:  After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.  After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles.  And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time.  For I am the least of the apostles, that am not meet to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.  But by the grace of God I am what I am:  and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all:  yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.  Therefore whether it were I or they, so we preach, and so ye believed.  (1st Corinthians 15:  1-11, King James Version)

Joe, here are some points to consider that many mature Christian believers acquire through their prayerful studies of the Bible:

(1.)  From Genesis to Revelation, the holy writings document the multiple changes and perfecting of the divine inheritance upon the earth that was patterned after the priesthood of Christ in heaven.  Many of the sacred events recorded occur to signal transformation of fellowship, service, worship, and the covenant relationships of mankind and GOD.  Examples include the priesthood as seen through Abel, Moses, Job, Jonah, Eli, David and Jesus.

(2.)  As with incarnation (the appearance of GOD in and through human flesh), manifestations, miracles and angelic visitations are sacred events to fulfill divine promises, establish prophecy, clarify hallowed purpose, and continue divine law.  These things derive from divinity and grace, the person of GOD, rather than from human needs for experience or information.

(3.)  The Apostle Paul (like believers today) had to experience new birth and re-creation wherein he was taken to new levels of what Adam had received as a son of GOD.  Paul’s awareness and intelligence continued to be limited because he remained grounded in many errors associated with GOD’s chosen instrument:  Jewish culture, law and tradition.  On the one hand, all Paul had ever believed was affirmed and certified.  On the other hand, all things became new.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  For example, (4.)  My personal testimony is that I have seen Jesus face-to-face.  However, Jesus has said, blessed are they that have not seen, yet have believed.  Our conviction should not go forward on the basis of human actions and sense experiences of seeing, hearing, etc.  Salvation is through discernment and realization of truth within ourselves regarding things that are entirely spirit in their being, content and substance.  Included are faith, holiness, joy, longsuffering, love, wisdom and wrath against sin.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.
