The divinity of Joseph, and his place as a caretaker and father to Jesus are topics, today. Also, there is more on when GOD controls. The “Yahoo! Answers” writer using ID “War and Peace” (Level 3 with 1,814 points, a member since September 2, 2012) posted the following:

Religious people: Why Jesus? Why not Joseph, Jesus’s father?

Does that makes Joseph God??

THE BATTLE AXE: When GOD Controls? (04/22/2013)—(5.) Accountability and divine judgment are not matters of arbitrarily placing blame, or exercising ones personal preferences. It is senseless to ask “who are you to question” as though challenging an ordinary person like oneself. It is the law, ones conscience, the account of ones own deeds, truth, and wisdom that accuses, challenges, indicts, or pronounces guilt. Because all are challenged to answer the same divine standards, and the divine judge is grounded in truth and impartial, judgment is trusted to be absolutely righteous, and does not permit bias and prejudice. (6.) GOD may not be blamed for the actions, errors, and sins of created beings and living creatures. The mechanisms of awareness and self-will make it that every being is accountable for their own behavior and conduct. More than this, all living must answer for their own peculiar application and use of their divine endowment. Included are discernment, divine gifts, doctrine, opportunities, skills, spirit content, talents, and tools. Faith in GOD, or believing the Gospel, does not justify selfishness, self-righteousness or sin. Through Christ one is justified only in such features as their giving, their meekness, their obedience, their repentance, their reverence, their submission, and their testimony.

THE GOLDEN ARROW: Now when these things were thus ordained, the priests went always into the first tabernacle, accomplishing the service of God. But into the second went the high priest alone once every year, not without blood, which he offered for himself, and for the errors of the people: The Holy Ghost this signifying, that the way into the holiest of all was not yet made manifest, while as the first tabernacle was yet standing: Which was a figure for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience; Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on them until the time of reformation. But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building; Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance. (Hebrews 9: 6-15, King James Version)

Dear War and Peace, here are some points shared among mature Christian believers that may help you further build up your understanding:

(1.) The divine use of a human life to perfectly execute and perform the will of GOD upon the earth must be carefully fitted to a broad range of divine events, sacred operations and eternal goals. Included are covenant, Creation, revelation, judgment, death, rebirth, resurrection, salvation, and sanctification. The sacred needs of all created beings and living creatures are to be addressed.

(2.) GOD is a spirit and must be known upon the earth through breath, spirit content (e.g., faith, grace, holiness), truth, and utterance that registers as consciousness (we say, the word). Only GOD is GOD, yet, GOD may appear and function as different Persons.

(3.) The word of GOD has been received, documented and shared in the earth as law, praise, prayer, promise, proclamation and prophecy. Often, actions and events performed by GOD are described before they occur through the word, and are clarified and explained after their occurrence by the word.

(4.) In accordance with the word of GOD spoken and maintained in the earth, Joseph and many others among the Jews as a covenant people to GOD were used to prepare mankind for the appearance of the Almighty upon the earth in the form of a human being, Jesus Christ.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, (5.) Dynasty (i.e., royal secession), family lineage, inheritance and priesthood have been used as divine devices to fulfill and maintain the word of GOD to mankind. Flesh and spirit are both sacred tools in divine revelation.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.
