Today, reply is on delaying and postponing a saving relationship with Jesus Christ while pursuing the aims and goals of business. Many will seek to justify wrong-doing as correct and necessary when doing business. Thus, Christian believers are admonished and warned about becoming enslaved to fashion, riches, material things, and the operations of the world (e.g., carnal reason, competition, self-promotion, vanity). Through doctrine, prophecy, and teachings that have been examined and tested using thousands of events, within thousands of lives, over the course of thousand of years, divinity has exposed the danger of immersing oneself in business, commerce, politics and trade, or accumulating and administering wealth. Taken to the extreme, the busyness of business always is an enemy of ones Spirit from GOD. Because commitment to Christ is spoken of as joining oneself to GOD, as love and as marriage, becoming overly impressed by the world is described as adultery, fornication, transgression of divine law, and whore-mongering. The Book of Revelation urges mankind to come out of Babylon the Great, and to turn away from the Great Whore. Also it is written: Romans 8: 5-9, King James Version (KJV): Romans 8: 5-9, King James Version (KJV): 5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. 9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. One of the fighters at “Yahoo! Answers” who uses the ID “Anonymous” (no profile data appears) posted the following:

Should Jesus be put on the back burner when you have to violate his teachings in the name of business?

Business is business (except abortion clinics, apparently). “Forget Jesus. He already died for my sins, so I’m done with him anyways. It’s Paul’s teachings that I’ve got to follow now. One in particular: ‘Make as much money as humanly possible or die.’”

THE GOLDEN ARROW: And one of the company said unto him, Master, speak to my brother, that he divide the inheritance with me. And he said unto him, Man, who made me a judge or a divider over you? And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man’s life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth. (Luke 12: 13-15, KJV)

Anonymous”, among Christians, exaggerated desire and lust for money (we also say, Mammon) is false worship that acknowledges a man-made thing in place of the living GOD. Christian believers are to continually display balance, consciousness of divinity, sacred knowledge, and self-will (willpower) that are imparted from the substance of GOD. Through divine seed (many say, sacred DNA), men and women on the earth are to become recognizable as the sons and daughters of GOD, joint-heirs with Jesus Christ, and the new creation. Included in the fresh endowment of life essence (breath; spirit; word) believers receive from GOD are inseparable aspects of divine fullness such as faith, forbearance, holiness, oneness without sameness, personhood, righteousness, wisdom, and wrath against sin. Those who become “born again” are granted an ongoing relationship with divinity as “developing believers” who must “grow up again” while on the earth through accepting accountability, commitment, discovery, enduring growing pains, gradual growth, fellowship within a community of faith, sacred practices, unselfish service, and suffering. All are to become mature/ripe for harvest by the Savior at his Advent (we also say, his appearing, the Rapture, the Second Coming). Becoming a child of GOD is a matter of love being emanated and poured forth from divinity, rather than transactions trafficking in flesh. Believers often speak in terms of adoption, canceling debts, free gifts and grace, as well as being a divine purchase. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible, and a selection from the music ministry of John Michael Talbot:

1.) 1st Timothy 6: 7-11, King James Version (KJV): 7 For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. 8 And having food and raiment let us be therewith content. 9 But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. 10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. 11 But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.

2.) 1st Peter 5: 2-4, KJV: 2 Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind; 3 Neither as being lords over Gods heritage, but being ensamples to the flock. 4 And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.

3.) Acts 20: 28, KJV: 28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 4.) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3aHneNl38fM.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today, focus is on accountability, commitment, and exclusive devotion to GOD to be shown by mature Christian believers.  The problem of reverence and worship to false gods or man-made things that have importance in our living is described as “idolatry.”  Where a man will say, “ I can’t live without” this or that, he makes a questionable claim that some object has authority, contains divinity, and is a source of power for change, continuance, duration, and survival.  He may be speaking of his automobile, his family, his job, or his wife.  Often, he will be speaking of money; and he may be blind to the things that establish correct relationship with divinity and are necessary for eternal life, salvation, and genuine righteousness.  A fighter at “Yahoo! Christians: how do you interpret this?

Luk_16:9 And I say unto you, Make to yourselves friends of the mammon of unrighteousness; that, when ye fail, they may receive you into everlasting habitations.

Does this mean we are to compromise with the world? Or is it just a token of natural wisdom?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;  He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings,  Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness:  from such withdraw thyself.  But godliness with contentment is great gain.  For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.  And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.  But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.  For the love of money is the root of all evil:  which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.  But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.  (1st Timothy 6:  3-11, King James Version, KJV)

“RU55311”, fruitful relationship with the Creator requires commitment, meekness (i.e., being teachable by the Holy Spirit), and single-mindedness (we also say, determination, focus, a made-up mind).  For many mature Christian believers the language used in the Bible seems to always be plain and to-the-point.  However, through the use of parables and prophecy, many statements in the holy writings are challenging and at first unclear.  Like divine law, the instruction and lessons contained within the Scriptures are intended for sinners, for those who are indecisive, and for those vacillating, and so must speak to their level of grasp and understanding while also internalizing and installing a fresh endowment of consciousness and self-will from the makeup of divinity.   (Given it is true that “all have sinned and come short of the glory of GOD,” there are only 2 kinds of people in the world:  impenitent and repentant sinners.)  The character and nature of discourse, exchange, and public preaching allow use of such language tools as comparison, contrast, hyperbole (exaggeration for emphasis), metaphor, poetry, rhetoric, and sarcasm (clarification by introducing obviously contrary points).  A believer avoids confusion by using “discernment”, that is, by concentrating on the inseparable spirit substance from the makeup of GOD deposited within such features as cautions, events, messages, oneself, other persons, practices, prophecy, warnings, etc.   Consider the following points from the Bible:

(1.)   1st Corinthians 1:  17-24, King James Version (KJV):  17 For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel:  not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.  18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.  19 For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.  20 Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?  21 For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.  22 For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom:  23 But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness;  24 But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.

(2.)  Romans 8:  5-9, KJV:  5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (3.)  1st John 2:  15-17, KJV:  15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.  16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.  17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof:  but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today, some thoughts are shared on prostitution and the Great Whore who appears as a symbol and type within the Bible.  Sin may dominate awareness and self-will in created beings and living creatures.  The revelation of divine righteousness and wrath against sin is demonstrated in judgment by GOD, who demands exclusive devotion, and whose name, therefore, is Jealous.  Devotion to carnal pleasure, false gods, and man-made idols are to be understood as corruptions and perversions of human creativity and “the World” that should emerge from the endowment of divine love and indwelling spirit imparted to mankind at Creation.  Unlike Christian believers who strive to be known as faithful, persevering, steadfast and trustworthy, whores must be exposed by the provisions of GOD because they are actors and hypocrites who do not love, and they lack faith imparted from divinity, yet, may convincingly feign affection, commitment, and zeal.  A fighter at “Yahoo! So is the idea behind the great whore in christianity someone who accepts everyone?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  How weak is thine heart, saith the Lord GOD, seeing thou doest all these things, the work of an imperious whorish woman;  In that thou buildest thine eminent place in the head of every way, and makest thine high place in every street; and hast not been as an harlot, in that thou scornest hire;  But as a wife that committeth adultery, which taketh strangers instead of her husband!  They give gifts to all whores:  but thou givest thy gifts to all thy lovers, and hirest them, that they may come unto thee on every side for thy whoredom.  And the contrary is in thee from other women in thy whoredoms, whereas none followeth thee to commit whoredoms:  and in that thou givest a reward, and no reward is given unto thee, therefore thou art contrary.  Wherefore, O harlot, hear the word of the LORD:  Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thy filthiness was poured out, and thy nakedness discovered through thy whoredoms with thy lovers, and with all the idols of thy abominations, and by the blood of thy children, which thou didst give unto them;  Behold, therefore I will gather all thy lovers, with whom thou hast taken pleasure, and all them that thou hast loved, with all them that thou hast hated; I will even gather them round about against thee, and will discover thy nakedness unto them, that they may see all thy nakedness.  And I will judge thee, as women that break wedlock and shed blood are judged; and I will give thee blood in fury and jealousy.  And I will also give thee into their hand, and they shall throw down thine eminent place, and shall break down thy high places:  they shall strip thee also of thy clothes, and shall take thy fair jewels, and leave thee naked and bare.  They shall also bring up a company against thee, and they shall stone thee with stones, and thrust thee through with their swords.  And they shall burn thine houses with fire, and execute judgments upon thee in the sight of many women:  and I will cause thee to cease from playing the harlot, and thou also shalt give no hire any more.  So will I make my fury toward thee to rest, and my jealousy shall depart from thee, and I will be quiet, and will be no more angry.  (Ezekiel 16:  30-42, KJV)

“Adam”, may I share some thoughts, here?  Mature Christian believers depend upon the holy writings to explain the various figures, symbols, and types that appear, especially where they have been provided to put forth admonition, prophecy, and revelation.  The Great Whore is described directly only within the Book of Revelation, and is a representation of commerce, enterprise, and trade; and may be regarded as corruption of both “the Flesh” and “the World.”  The carnal, material and social mechanisms and processes that may dominate human life are called “the flesh.”  Included are appetite (e.g., hunger, thirst, sexual craving), sensation (e.g., hearing, seeing, tasting, touching), emotion/mental functions  (e.g., anger, fear, imagination, recall).  In the same way the earth is the creation of divinity to maintain life for mankind, “the World” has been the creation of mankind for communication, exchange, life experience, and its own  survival.  Through the operations of sin that oppose the continued existence of divine law, the Law Giver, and the Creation established on a platform of sacred law, “the World” has become corrupt, defiled, and spiritually unclean.  Thus, the Great Whore can be seen as a mix of idols and images mistakenly exalted and worshiped among men that include the City, Mammon, the lingam, the mother, the yoni, and even marriage that is the counterfeit of holy matrimony.  Throughout the holy writings, prostitution and whoredom are used to identify sin that is otherwise hidden and disguised to be favor from “god”.  Those who offer themselves to false gods and idols do so by “hiring” and “paying for intimacy” with abominations.  The concepts of blessing (we also say, gifts) and grace from GOD are despised.  Those who “lust after” the Great Whore do so seeking to selfishly profit from, and make merchandise of the things from GOD (e.g., atonement, forgiveness, instruction, redemption, salvation).  They display to their chosen idol(s) the offerings and sacrifices properly due only to the true and living GOD.  Sacred law exposes sin as destructive, empty, ugly, and vain (i.e., without divine content).  In the same way, many have erred supposing they may consult a prostitute for instruction about sexual matters, and do not understand they are submitting themselves to fornication and life patterns that generate further emotional, psychological and spiritual confusion, the disciples of Christ have been warned that many will covet the inheritance of the church, become deceived and submit to “worship” of the Great Whore.

Today, points are shared on the place of free will offerings and sacrificial giving as an aspect of the new life from GOD for our salvation.  Televangelists now regularly appear requesting large sums of money for their ministries.  Along with those teaching what it means to sow a “thousand-dollar seed,” I am aware of one pastor who openly welcomes gifts of one million dollars to prepare believers for a second holocaust forecast by end-time Bible prophesies that will soon come against the Israelis of Judea.  A divine process wherein ones spirit content becomes engaged must occur that is very different from intellectual argument, begging, influence, and persuasion.  No appeals can be made to those who lack meekness (ability to respond to guidance and instruction from the Holy Spirit), to those answering filthy lucre, to unbelievers, or to atheists, financiers and most of those outside the body of Christ.  Confessions of need, challenges, intercession, and the stirrings of faith must be made that are directed, and pertain only to the body of believers.  Messages and utterances of the Holy Spirit are mistakenly heard as open appeals to the general public.  The continuing administration of donations and funds are as necessary to the current survival of the church as was the missionary work of the early apostles and disciples that made possible the continued outreach from Jerusalem by the community of anointed believers there.  The cycle of  expenditures and outlays for the work of spreading the Gospel, with the demonstrations and displays of acceptable prayer and worship, demand dependable and regular income as well as the repeated replenishment of resources and reserves.  Consider again the following from the Bible, and the points appearing below:  Galatians 6:  7-9, King James Version (KJV):  7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked:  for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.  8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.  9 And let us not be weary in well doing:  for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.  Also, 2nd Corinthians 8:  20-21, KJV:  20 Avoiding this, that no man should blame us in this abundance which is administered by us:  21 Providing for honest things, not only in the sight of the Lord, but also in the sight of men.

1.  Evangelism must continue as a sacred work until the return of Jesus Christ to harvest his believers from the earth.  The primary focus for disciples of the Lord are prophecy, publishing revelation, and continuing unseen operations to comfort, edify and exhort other believers.  Yet, many mistakenly hold that the work for the body is no more than church attendance, fomenting unrest, fund-raising, preaching, self-improvement, singing spiritual songs, social welfare, and teaching questionable doctrines.  An authentic ministry to the modern world that will address the spiritual needs of billions of persons in multiple nations can go forward only by each believer acknowledging a duty to provide, according to their own means, the needed financial, human, material, and sacred resources.

2.  Dedication, expectation, perseverance, urgency and zeal should characterize the work of the church.  In addition to showing exclusive acknowledgment of divinity as the source of their salvation, believers are also to demonstrate correct sacred knowledge, and awareness that the present period with opportunities for divine salvation must be ended before the coming of Christ.  Using the metaphors of sowing, planting, and waiting for ones harvest, it is correct to speak of changing times, seasons, the closing of doors, and no longer having the present access to GOD.  The many ongoing temporal events for rebirth and new life will soon be withheld.

3.  Just as offerings and sacrifices were transferred to GOD  from the holy altar by sacred fire, material gifts and money are delivered to Christ through the fire of ones indwelling Spirit as godly intent, praise, sacred purpose, and willing submission.  All gifts from the earth must become spirit substance, before they are received by divinity.  In the process of the World, those choosing to donate, and support the work of a pastor or organized ministry by making gifts of money may be spoken of as their “co-workers” and “partners”.  The pastor or ministry may then be described correctly as the agents, employees, personal representatives, and spokespersons of the giver:  The recipient must answer to the giver, not to GOD.  For the World, affiliation with the recipient’s good deeds and religious works, also means being associated with their flaws, shortcomings, and sins.  By giving, a believer becomes vulnerable, and is seen risking their genuine salvation.  The World accounts providing goods or money, and other practical works apart from religious ceremonies and rituals as mere manual labor and mechanical routines.  Relevant issues therefore are non-spiritual such as access to records, accountability, credit agency ratings, ethical oversight (e.g., uncovering and removing conflicts of interest), and transparency for finances.

4.  By programs that permit voluntary contributions and donations to be provided from believers, present day disciples are to experience the same blessings of development, growth, and spiritual power that were granted to those of the early church.  Many come to GOD wanting to know, carry out, and share those plain and simple things within their means that may be used to please divinity.  They become hesitant when they find that their behavior and motives will be examined and questioned with hostility.  Commercialism, consumerism, covetousness, materialism, pride, selfishness, and even being wealthy are condemned by many within the church.  Often believers desire to give, however, they may not feel encouraged to serve or express their love to GOD by their giving until special opportunities are provided by crises, emergencies, and unusual occasions.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, 5.  Those who are turned to GOD through Jesus Christ have no part with Mammon, and the Great Whore who both make merchandise of humanity and all the earth.  Christians are turned to the earth as caretakers and husbandmen.  Therefore, the works of harvesting and ingathering should be associated with freedom, joy, rebirth and release.  Anxiety, bitterness, complaining, resentment, stinginess and suspecting others are divisive, and tend to destruction.  Those who condemn, envy, and persecute the church on the basis of outward appearances—because they do not discern eternal purposes and sacred operations—routinely focus upon desperation, extravagance, fear, greed, scandal, slander, waste, and weaknesses concealed among clergy and other individuals in positions of authority and trust.  They do not accept that abundance, favor, fertility, fruitfulness, healing and plenty make the active presence of divinity known and visible.  Peace is the godly outcome of giving and sharing that bring about celebration, thanksgiving, and unity.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

That having material possessions is an obstacle and indication of sin that keeps men from salvation is considered, today.  Correctly understood, the condemnation upon those having property and wealth first centers in their inherited nature as sons of Adam.  Divine blessing, therefore, goes beyond success in human terms (e.g., authority, celebrity, control, family size, independence, amassing valuable objects, owning luxuries).  Included as godly success are such features as spiritual adoption, baptism, and rebirth that establish sacred anointing and eternal endowment.  Because money and wealth encourage a fixed and narrow focus upon things that are earthly, the rich are often “blind” and fail to invest in the things that pertain to their own eternal life.  Consider again the following from the Bible, and the points appearing below:  James 2:  5, King James Version (KJV):   5 Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him?  Also, John 9:  39-41, KJV:  39 And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind.  40 And some of the Pharisees which were with him heard these words, and said unto him, Are we blind also?   41 Jesus said unto them, if ye were blind, ye should have no sin:  but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth.  A fighter at “Yahoo! Why do rich ‘Christians’ ignore Jesus’ words: it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter Heaven?

Will all Christians with material possessions go to hell? How does that make you feel?

“Steve”, here are some points I can share as a mature Christian believer:

(1.)  Many presumptuously take words spoken by the Savior for admonition, instruction, and warning to also be weapons they may use for condemnation and final judgment of others.  Correctly understood, the Savior provided guidance to prepare mankind for the transformation to exist as eternal, immortal, and incorruptible.  The wealthy are as in need of mercy and salvation as the poor, and working class.  Having wealth is not reprimanded so much as misusing wealth, denying divine grace, and assuming that redemption and salvation are through barter, trade and merchandising.  Ezekiel 17:  49-50, King James Version (KJV):  49 Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fulness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy.  50 And they were haughty, and committed abomination before me:  therefore I took them away as I saw good.

(2.)  In the holy writings, we see that wealth is bestowed as blessing upon those who serve divinity, and this further enables mankind’s participation in the fulfillment of eternal purposes.  Yet, we see mendicancy (begging) and poverty serving divine purposes as well.  The ministry of Jesus as an itinerant rabbi was supported by the contributions and gifts of others.  Isaiah 2:  10-12, KJV:  10 Enter into the rock, and hide thee in the dust, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty.  11 The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, and the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, and the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day.  12 For the day of the LORD of hosts shall be upon every one that is proud and lofty, and upon every one that is lifted up; and he shall be brought low.

(3.)  The incident where a rich, young ruler asked what he might do to obtain eternal life—beyond obeying the law of Moses, and continuing in the ancient covenants—allowed Jesus to teach that ones character and nature are the focus of judgment along with their being in correct relationship, rather than their position, rank and social status.  Isaiah 1:  17, KJV:  17 Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (4.)  Material wealth is vain (i.e., lacks divine substance), is temporal (can not endure; does not last), and is unstable.  The many subtleties (i.e., hidden shifts in intent, meaning, and value) introduced by the burdens of accountability, duty, hard work, and responsibility associated with acquiring and maintaining wealth generate many of the same effects as idol worship, and devotion to Mammon.  1st Chronicles 29:  11-13, KJV:  11 Thine, O LORD, is the greatness, and the power and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty:  for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all.  12 Both riches and honour come of thee, and thou reignest over all; and in thine hand is power and might; and in thine hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all.  13 Now therefore, our God, we thank thee, and praise thy glorious name.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

THE BATTLE AXE:  The Rich in Divine Relationship? (11/29/2013)—In the same way it is forbidden believers in Christ to oppress and steal from the poor, we are forbidden to continually exploit and presume upon the rich. The rich are to be helped to understand that GOD is not their enemy.  The idea that we must compete against, prove ourselves equal to, or show ourselves better than the wealthy comes from pride, not from godliness or righteousness.  The need of the wealthy for healing and salvation is no less than our own, or that of every other created being and living creature.  Their pain may derive from other causes and circumstances than our own, nonetheless, they too bleed, struggle, suffer as they live, and are now objects of divine mercy, pity, and saving grace.  None are to despise or show contempt for the rich.  Often it is only by their hard work that our communities see employment opportunities, improvements to the quality of life, and benefits to families, small businesses, schools, and shared public facilities.  For the rich, the insurmountable barrier to relationship with GOD is not to be the body of believers.  Traditionally, it has been that relationship to GOD demands sacrifice.  Even when Christ offers himself to comfort and succor those who suffer loss, despite that they continue at risk for total damnation, many are unwilling to bear the removal of money, prestige and property.  See Deuteronomy 8:  18-19, Proverbs 13:  7, Proverbs 19: 22,  Psalms 50:  1-6, Micah 7:  2-9  and Luke 18:  17-30, King James Version.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.  If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:  But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.  If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.  If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.  If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.  (1st John 1:  5-10, KJV)

“sudheer k”, here are a few points I am willing to share in the name of Jesus that speak to sin and the revealed process of GOD:

(1.)  Sin is no living matter, is nonmaterial, and may not be described as having physical or spatial dimensions such as depth, height, length, and weight.  Sin has no spirit substance from the makeup of GOD, sin has not been created by GOD, and sin has no power to control or influence the divine will.  With this in view, sin does not exist as a true object in Creation.  Even so, sin has direction, effect, and presence; and sin may dominate awareness and self-will in created beings and living creatures.

(2.)  Given that sin is “no thing” and has no independent existence, sin cannot be destroyed.  The task to eliminate and permanently remove sin may not go forward by the ordinary tools available to finite beings such as feelings, intellect, knowledge, logic and science.  Multiple divine operations and sacred events are required that include baptism, birth, confession, covenant, death, rebirth, forgiveness, judgment, incarnation, love, prophecy, repentance, resurrection, and sanctification.

(3.)  Sin opposes the continued existence of divine law, of divine person, and of all that has been put forth by GOD as Creation.  Because sin is not immediately experienced as contrary, foreign and strange to ones nature and inner makeup, many do not realize the full danger and destructiveness of sin; and sin is held to be acceptable, natural, and “normal.”  Sin was first recognized among the holy angels; and is now documented as binding, corrupting, and immobilizing the godly operation of self-will (we may say, will power).  The original endowment of spirit imparted at Creation to mankind has been diluted and weakened from the operations of sin.

There is far more to be said, correctly shared, and spiritually understood.  (For example, (4.)  Error and sin will continue as aspects of imbalance and subtlety (i.e., barely visible differences and shifts).  Like the back of ones head, without the tools provided by GOD, the true character and workings of sin would remain hidden and unseen to those under its control.  Through the earthly and heavenly ministry of Jesus Christ, believers receive fresh deposits of divinity that permit the living to detect and resist sin.  Once divine judgment of the righteous has been completed, Christ will come to harvest the earth.  At that time, mankind will be transformed to live as immortal and incorruptible.  All that will continue in eternal life will be perfected and no longer vulnerable to sin.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.  We who claim place in covenant to GOD are to shine forth as a light to the world.  Happy Hanukkah to all.

Salvation for those possessing wealth is the topic, today.  Also, there is more on denominations, and points to consider before getting baptized.  A writer at “Yahoo! Answers Philippines” using the ID “Clara” (Level 1 with 10 points, a member since August 4, 2011) posted the following originally asked at Yahoo Answers United States:

Does being wealthy prevent you from having a relationship with god?

THE BATTLE AXE:  Before Getting Baptized? (11/28/2013)—  (5.)  The person who voluntarily approaches Jesus Christ for baptism through the church established in the earth should first acknowledge their human need for salvation, and that their submission to GOD through baptism is only a beginning for a new relationship with the Divine Creator that can not be fully realized except through an eternal life.  With this in view, confession of ones emotional, material, psychological and spiritual need should be in place before baptism as well as ones rejection of sin displayed through their own wicked behavior and conduct.  Thus, for example, a believer should grasp that repentance (turning to GOD at the same time one turns away from sin) may be gradual, and will continue over time only by multiple operations of the Holy Spirit.  Upon arriving at the age of accountability (it varies among denominations from ages 8-18), and following their instruction and upbringing within the church, those also who came to Christ through parental decisions for infant and child baptism, must make an independent and public choice for Christ.  (6.)  Denominations vary on the basis of doctrine and teachings, how they trace their origins to Christ, and their hierarchy and structure for overall administration and conduct of day to day affairs as an institution.  Thus, for example, Catholic and Episcopal believers are encouraged that many of their observances have come through an unbroken line of bishops that extends to the eleven apostles who actually lived and walked with Jesus; while Apostolic and Pentecostal believers trace their observances to widespread “awakenings” and spiritual revivals whereby modern-day believers received outpourings of the Holy Ghost like that of the early church on the day of Pentecost.  The new believer’s need for continuing encouragement and support can be very great, for all who follow Christ will encounter opposition by family, friends, and those of the world that can be devastating to ones developing faith.  Even so, their relationship to GOD must be the primary focus; and there must be trust that Christ will lead to GOD despite any human errors, failings, unanswered questions, ungodly obstacles, sin, or weakness.  GOD will be present to guide, correct, heal, and continually oversee ones acquisition of permanent change (we say, perfection).  (7.)  The disciples and followers of Jesus are to be an incarnation of Christ, and vessels containing divinity.  With this in view, death of the believer and receipt of new life through their baptism is experienced as a continuing truth recorded in the books of heaven, and not just a one-time social event that may be annulled through neglect, canceled, dismissed, and forgotten.  Like the Apostle Paul, believers should operate with an awareness that, through prayer and unselfish service, they are to “die daily” to sin, and are to be raised again to GOD and Christ.  See Galatians 2:  20, 1st Corinthians 1:  9-18, Romans 6:  1-23 and  1st Corinthians 15:  1-58, King James Version.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Lift not up your horn on high:  speak not with a stiff neck.  For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south.  But God is the judge:  he putteth down one, and setteth up another.  (Psalms 75:  5-7, KJV)

“Clara”, here are some points for consideration that have been useful to clarify various Bible teachings among Christian believers:

(1.)  Great wealth often triggers destruction of the spirit content from GOD that should reside in all living persons.  Corruption and decay of the divine endowment that had been established in the Creation of Adam has continued in humankind since the time of Adam’s transgression.  The rotting and wasting away of sacred content for all created beings and living creatures is accelerated within each individual who turns away from GOD under the influence of material objects and social pressures.

(2.)  The rich experience demands for consistency, distinction, duty, industry, regularity, predictability, and responsibility that often skewer a person’s self-awareness leading to arrogance, haughtiness, idolatry, and pride.  Additionally, great wealth can foster apathy, covetousness, decadence, cupidity, ennui, idleness, materialism, nonconformity, pleasure-seeking, squandering and waste.

(3.)  While many aspects of relationship to GOD are not dependent on choice and will among created beings and living creatures (e.g., Creation, judgment, salvation, sanctification), believers and disciples of Jesus Christ are those who willingly make a commitment to display the operation of GOD upon and through their being.  Just as the poor are always with us, and they are used by GOD to give warning, to stir compassion, and to demonstrate longsuffering; the wealthy serve in examples that make visible divine approval, pleasure, displeasure, and wrath against sin.

There is far more to be said, correctly shared, and spiritually understood.  For example, (4.)  It is not a sin to be wealthy; however, it is a sin to “forget GOD,” or deny that GOD is the source of ones blessing and prosperity.  Divine judgment is impartial, and there is no bias against those who are affluent.  Believers are not to condemn the wealthy, or continually rant against them with bitterness, censure, envy, negative criticism, and resentment.  Instead, it is the duty of those in Christ to display compassion, humility, and to pray for the continued success of the wealthy whereby many are being quietly benefited in unseen ways.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.  Surely The Light of the World will soon shine forth.  Happy Hanukkah to all.

New Disclaimer

Recently, I was using an online Bible for daily study (the New International Version, NIV) presented at an Internet site.  Banner ads appeared above and below as well as to the right and left of the Scripture texts.  In addition, I saw selected words throughout the text were underlined as links to permit researchers and students access to various other commercial advertisers (this in addition to the site’s own “religious” ads display that included books, Christian online dating services, and online applications for religious schools).  It was devastating to see that all their careful scholarship and work to present accurate, authentic presentations of the Holy Bible has been undone.  Because their field of wheat has been sown with tares, their Website can now be seen as another shrine to Mammon, where what was offered to the public for spiritual enlightenment and uplift is being quietly defiled, profaned and tainted through deceit.  When I realized the same intrusive advertising displays are now being imposed upon my daily sacred writings blog also, I became paralyzed with fear for America, for the church, and for the multitude of at-risk non-believers.

The out-of-control covetousness and prostitution of the Internet has forced me to introduce a disclaimer for THE WHOLE ARMOR OF GOD (see below).  Internet hosts are now free to make presentations through my material having no awareness of its content, its sacred purpose, or that the work exposes their own spiritual confusion.  Their ad material is being mechanically included without permission or respect to the aims of any author.  The result is a clear example of the cosmic conflict.  Where our cry has been, “The battle is for the mind!” readers must now know, THE BATTLE IS FOR THE SPIRIT!

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;  And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:  To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God, According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:  In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.  Wherefore I desire that ye faint not at my tribulations for you, which is your glory.  For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,  Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,  That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;  That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,  May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;  And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.  Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,  Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end.  Amen.  (Ephesians 3:  8-21, King James Version)

DISCLAIMER:  The Internet initially was developed as a weapon for military use, and is now a major instrument for advertising, buying, commerce, currency exchange, entrepreneurship, selling, trade, and usury.  As a result, the ministry of Jesus Christ through this blog will be thought of and presented by many as intellectual property, merchandise, and worldly goods; and the correct balance, dignity, respect and reverence due the Gospel message will not be maintained by commercial blog hosts, Websites, or others having no affiliation with the Kingdom of GOD.  Readers, here, are cautioned that the enemies of the cross are to be clearly recognized as such.  While the process of Christ was face to face, word of mouth, and the hearing of the ear, for men and women of faith to have no access to the Internet will be a collective loss that no commonwealth can bear. The Internet as social media is becoming a device whereby a price is being put upon private feelings, intimacy, and personal expression.  Once we decide “the free gift” (i.e., the word from GOD) must be bought and paid for, and is no longer to be freely shared on the Internet, we also state that GOD may have no living church, or spirit presence among us.  The church manifest through those using the means at hand for fulfillment of spiritual goals and eternal purposes will become invisible.  I trust GOD will repay all who have assisted, encouraged, or otherwise shared in the work of this sacred writings blog.
