Accountability, foreknowledge, free will, and Judas are topics, today, along with more on snake handling.  The “Yahoo! Answers” writer using ID “heart” (Level 6 with 15,519 points, a member since November 24, 2007) posted the following:

Wasn’t Judas just doing God’s plan?

ok follow me please..Judas. He betrayed Jesus then killed himself. Jesus KNEW that was going to happen (him hanging himself, then Jesus being imprisoned and crucified) but that’s what was supposed to happen right? I mean if you think about it, Judas sacrificed his life like Jesus did because someone had to betray Jesus in order for him to go on the cross to die for everyone’s sins right??

THE BATTLE AXE:  Snake Handling? (02/19/2014)—Prophetic demonstrations are a series of actions and nonverbal presentations used by a spokesperson from GOD to proclaim a divine message, and may use gestures, movements, objects arranged in patterns, and symbols in the place of words.  Miracles and signs are sacred events performed by GOD, and through operations of the Holy Spirit, and are not continuing and regularly scheduled sacred practices of men.  Also, Faith cometh  by hearing, and hearing by the word of GOD.  Thus, apart from the word, snake handling is no different than snake charming (a natural process of the material world), and at its best is only a “good work” that can not serve as the foundation of ones salvation.  Miracles and signs do not edify (build up) as do sacred law and prophecy.  Demonstrations of boldness and confidence that oppose the natural order may increase doubt, fear, and uncertainty without also imparting spirit content from Christ.  Where there is no word from GOD, there should be no confirmation that follows.  See Deuteronomy 13:  1-3, Psalms 78:  31-39, John 10:  36-38, Ezekiel 4:  1-17, Acts 28:  1-6, Matthew 16:  1-4 and John 3:  11-12, King James Version.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing:  the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.  But there are some of you that believe not.  For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him.  And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father.  From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.  Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away?  Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.  And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God.  Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil?  He spake of Judas Iscariot the son of Simon:  for he it was that should betray him, being one of the twelve.  (John 6:  63-71, KJV)

“heart”, here are a few points to consider that agree with Christian belief, and fit with the full system that makes up the Gospel:

(1.)  Divine foreknowledge of human events pertain to the operations of GOD among created beings and living creatures, and to the fulfillment of eternal purpose.  It works the same way all Americans now know a new President will be chosen on a specific Tuesday, in November of a forthcoming year, and may determine exactly when by looking at their calendars, yet, have no knowledge of actual details on whom the Nation’s choice will be (e.g., age, eye color, height, marital status, name, party affiliation) until that time.

(2.)  Angels are not mortal, are not omniscient (all-knowing), and may only decide the future as do men, by establishing consequences and effects from their actions and choices.  Only GOD who is a spirit  is immortal, incorruptible and unchanging.  Believers may speak of the foreknowledge of GOD as an aspect of divine will (specifically intent, law, purpose, the sanctions of the law), proclamation, and prophecy.  In this sense, Adam knew death would come upon mankind before the pair laid eyes upon the fruit; and Jesus knew both mankind, and all the things he must do to fulfill his ministry.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (3.)  Foolish men and angels lacking necessary endowments from GOD, insist upon a “free will” that allows disruption of divine order, the annulling of GOD’s will, and the termination of their own existence as an aspect of the divine person revealed.  The many non-negotiable conditions for mankind’s continued awareness and being as created include being cold in snow, and wet in rain.  There is no free will; and the plans of any to set aside divine love, final judgment, and sacred truth only come by lack of imparted spirit content from GOD.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

A parable is used, today, to share points on the fall of Adam and Eve.  Also, there is more on knowledge of GOD among the holy angels.  A “Yahoo! Why did god get so cross when adam and eve ate an apple?

I mean seriously it’s not like the raped or murdered anybody
if he didn’t want them to eat it he shouldn’t have put the tree of knowledge in the garden of eden

THE BATTLE AXE:  Does Satan Know? (11/06/2013)—The holy angels appear as divine instruments and spokespersons in prophecy; and may appear in forms that exhibit animal features, geometric polygons, or beings that fly using wings (see Ezekiel 10:  6-22, Genesis 28:  10-17 and Revelation 14:  6-12, KJV).  Confronting Jesus in the wilderness, Satan could not recognize the Son of GOD as someone he had seen before in the celestial presence, and so challenged Jesus to “appear” in his form as Son of the Highest.  Similarly, Satan came into the presence of Jesus, however, not in celestial form.  With this in view, believers are always wise to “try the spirits” (see Matthew 4:  1-11, Hebrews 1:  1-14, 2nd Corinthians 11:  13-15, 1st John 4:  1-6 and Revelation 22:  8-9, KJV).

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,  Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.  For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.  Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.  And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him:  For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.  If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?  But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.  Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence:  shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?  For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness.  Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous:  nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.  (Hebrews 12:  1-11, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Why Jesus Used Parables (11/03/2013); Denying Baptism to Others (11/04/2013); Balaam (10/15/2013); About Sabbath (10/16/2013); Freewill is Finite (06/30/2013); GOD Intervenes? “william”, here is a parable making a few points that help Christian believers understand the account of Adam (the single name given by GOD to both the male and female who existed before the Almighty as a single person):

Dad brought home a lovely box of assorted chocolate candies for mom on Valentine’s Day.  In celebration, she allowed each of her three little charges to choose from the assortment.  The next day, while she was out shopping, one of her boys decided he would have a sweet; so he went into mom’s room looking for the candies.  He reasoned that, she loved him so much she would want him to take freely of what dad had provided.  Besides, there were so many, she would still have plenty left.  He would only sniff out the mints; she probably would not miss one (or two); and, should she become angry, no one would ever trace the deed to himself were he careful to leave no trace of his having been there, and wash any residue from his hands.  After some searching, he found where the candies were “hidden” (i.e., stored to keep from melting, spoiling, etc.), carefully lifted the lid of the box, removed two stunners, and tried to carefully replace the tissues and wrapping paper as though they had not been disturbed.

Later, upon her return, mom went to her chocolates and found the box had been rifled.  She called the children to her, and asked what had gone on.  After several minutes of awkward denials and protestations of innocence, the matriarch “arbitrarily” declared that all would be on punishment (we say, lock down) until she would be told the truth concerning the “harmless” prank.  The children were sent to their room, where a pair of them insisted the culprit surrender himself.  As they heard their mother crying from her room, the innocents tried to explain why the game was up; that mom could see the stain of chocolate on his tongue, like they had done, and could smell the mint on his breath.

The mother could have taken the chocolates with her, or eaten them all; and could have avoided leaving the candies as if bait or something to deliberately entrap her children.  Surely she knew, even from her own experience as a child, what could happen to luscious chocolates left unguarded.  Knowing her own children, she should have realized whether they all (or who would be the lone suspect that) might yield to appetite, and seek to gobble a treat from her treasure trove.  Had the offense remained only a simple filching of chocolates (i.e., taking what belongs to someone else without authority and permission—we say, stealing), the outcome might not have been a personal breakdown, maternal heartache and weeping.  No less important than a theft of unguarded chocolates, there also had been covetousness, deception, disrespect, dissembling, greed, impatience, lying, passive aggression, presumption, pretext, separation, trespassing into ones private space, and violation of trust.  A “hate crime” had been committed in the home.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually understood.  I trust this fragment will be useful.  Even so, be it unto you according to your faith.  Jesus is coming.  Grow in grace.

Focus, today, is upon covenant, sacrifice, and warfare as divine operations in Scripture to establish sacred relationship.  Also, there is more on the assurances for salvation.  The “Yahoo!7 Answers (Australia)” writer using ID “Jens Pawtroski” (Level 1 with 199 points, a member since 2 November 2011) posted the following:

Somone for the love of God rationalize Numbers 31 17-18!?

First of all atheists do not bother to answer since this is a question directed at christian ONLY.

I am a christian 18 years old and have been having trouble with the many of the killings and war in the OT as it seems out of sync with Jesus in the NT. This is like the fifth time I have asked this question here on YA so i would appriciate it if you could help me out here.

I have read that many of the wars and killings in the OT are allergorical and hyperbole. Meaning that when they say for an example: “They put them all to the sword and left nothing alive that breathes” It really means that they kicked their asses and won. Not literally that they killed everyone including women and children.

There is alot of evidence for this that many of the war accounts use hyperboles and not all they say is to be understood literally but I won’t go into detail now. Anyway do you think this could be the case here? I can understand that God would kill those who had already committed great sins such as the midinite women who were not virgins but the little boys? Can you imagine going around hacking and slashing 2-3-4 year olds to pieces? I don’t know about you but MY God would never command such. Again I am not trying to bash the bible but I am seeking answers for something that really bothers me.

THE BATTLE AXE:  Assurances of Salvation? (10/06/2013)—(5)  The many gifts from GOD through his Spirit make possible the confidence of believers.  Fresh spirit content from GOD equip believers to increasingly operate having discernment (i.e., ability to correctly recognize the godliness and spirit content in events, other persons, things that are spoken or written, etc.).  Using discernment, believers are able to avoid situations set up to attack, confuse, destroy and discourage belief.  They do not allow themselves to become bogged down, depressed, dominated and entangled by those who insult and undermine their faith; believers are those grateful, saved and under the authority of Jesus Christ.  Christian believers acquire holy boldness that serves like courage or fearlessness, making it possible to approach GOD to seek correction, forgiveness, help, and spiritual supplies; and making it possible to see that every “enemy” is already defeated.  Believers do not always get every material thing they may desire, or feel they want as humans in flesh.  However, with the record of covenant duties discharged, answered prayers, divine promises fulfilled, and prophecy continuing to be in force, all believers may have incontestable certainty for their sacred expectations (we say, hope).  See Deuteronomy 28:  1-48, Hebrews 10:  15-30, 1st John 2:  1-3 and 1st John 4:  16-18, King James Version.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Now therefore fear the LORD, and serve him in sincerity and in truth:  and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the LORD.  And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell:  but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.  And the people answered and said, God forbid that we should forsake the LORD, to serve other gods;  For the LORD our God, he it is that brought us up and our fathers out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage, and which did those great signs in our sight, and preserved us in all the way wherein we went, and among all the people through whom we passed:  And the LORD drave out from before us all the people, even the Amorites which dwelt in the land:  therefore will we also serve the LORD; for he is our God.  And Joshua said unto the people, Ye cannot serve the LORD:  for he is an holy God; he is a jealous God; he will not forgive your transgressions nor your sins.  If ye forsake the LORD, and serve strange gods, then he will turn and do you hurt, and consume you, after that he hath done you good.  And the people said unto Joshua, Nay; but we will serve the LORD.  And Joshua said unto the people, Ye are witnesses against yourselves that ye have chosen you the LORD, to serve him.  And they said, We are witnesses.  Now therefore put away, said he, the strange gods which are among you, and incline your heart unto the LORD God of Israel.  And the people said unto Joshua, The LORD our God will we serve, and his voice will we obey.  So Joshua made a covenant with the people that day, and set them a statute and an ordinance in Shechem.  And Joshua wrote these words in the book of the law of God, and took a great stone, and set it up there under an oak, that was by the sanctuary of the LORD.  And Joshua said unto all the people, Behold, this stone shall be a witness unto us; for it hath heard all the words of the LORD which he spake unto us:  it shall be therefore a witness unto you, lest ye deny your God.  (Joshua 24:  14-27, KJV)

DOUBLE DAGGER:  Jericho Justified? (07/02/2013); Theoretical Forgiveness? (07/03/2013); Why Did The Judges Fight? (10/19/2012); The Spirit is Willing (10/20/2012); Mob Rule and Violence (09/27/2012); Suppose I Am Wrong? (09/28/2012)

Jens, here are a few points Christian believers find useful to avoid spiritual confusion when considering accounts of warfare in the holy writings:

(1.)  GOD is a spirit who uses divine utterance and sacred events to reveal divinity among and to created beings and living creatures.  Included are commands, miracles, praise, promises, prophecy, and vision.  Judgments against sin (we often say, plagues, punishments) are commanded by GOD that appear in the Scriptures as warfare between tribes and nations.

(2.)  Many of the nations that come under the utter destruction of GOD in seeming warfare are in covenant and sacrificial relationships with GOD.  Those who left Egypt with Moses, the twelve tribes of Jacob and the mixed multitude (we say, Gentiles), were called into covenant as an instrument to restore a peculiar balance between heaven and earth, GOD and mankind.  Those who violate covenant do more than simply sin in behavior and conduct that is naughty.  As with the betrayal of Judas, they overthrow divine relationship, and disturb cosmic order throughout the universe.

In addition to breaking off revenge, judgment, redemption, and salvation, there are multiple topics and issues, here, that one comes to understand only by spirit growth.  There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually understood.  (For example, (3.)  Devices for Divine Person and finite beings to be in continuing relationship that cannot be ended by death have included dynasty, family, inheritance, divine proclamation and promise.  What GOD begins in the life of one individual (e.g., Abraham) may be completed through the lives of others (e.g., Moses) who continue in the same posture to GOD.  By death on the cross as an altar and holy table where heaven and earth are joined, Jesus established a greater way for intimate relationship.  Mankind now receives a fresh endowment of sacred content from the makeup and person of GOD.  Included are faith, holiness, gratitude, joy, longsuffering, wisdom, and wrath against sin.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Depictions of Christ showing a halo above or around his head are the topic, today; and there is more on the Holy Spirit as salt and fire for offerings to GOD.  The “Yahoo! 7 Answers (Australia)” writer using ID “Lucis” (Level 4 with 2,583 points, a member since 15 June 2013) posted the following that was originally asked on “Yahoo! Does Jesus have a halo?

THE BATTLE AXE:  Salted With Fire?  (09/24/2013)—In the context of the full paragraph for Mark 9:  49 (see Mark 9: 38-50, KJV), every believer offered to GOD as a sacrifice from the earth through Jesus Christ as High Priest is to be “salted”, endowed with the imparted, indwelling Spirit of Christ, the Holy Ghost.  Saying this another way, believers must be embraced through more than simply water baptism.  Each must also experience a baptism of fire.  John the Baptist preached more than simply repentance through water baptism; there also would be fire baptism,  John acknowledged that the baptism he brought was simple, and that the Messiah he was herald to would bring a new level of spirit endowment.  Surely, that is the Lord’s work in every believer, today, to bring a higher level of spirit endowment.  See Matthew 3:  10-11, John 1:  29-34, King James Version.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:  Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:  In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:  Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:  For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:  And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.  And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.  For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;  And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.  (Colossians 1:  12-20, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Jesus, A Party Animal? (05/03/2013); Jesus Lives! (05/04/2013); Before Abraham Was… (03/14/2013); On Titles and Respect (03/15/2013); A Man in Heaven? (09/03/2012); Aliens? (09/04/2012)

Lucis, here are few points that have helped many Christian believers understand the divine operation of Incarnation, and how Jesus could appear as both human and divine:

(1.)  Creative artists who use visual media (e.g., drawings, icons, mosaics, paintings, and tapestries) often depict Jesus as having a halo or nimbus (tiny clouds) above or surrounding his head.  The holy writings indicate that Jesus was ordinary in his physical appearance, did not have features that singled him out as good-looking or handsome, and would be described today as “commonplace”.  Jesus could not be easily distinguished from his apostles.  For this reason, the kiss of betrayal was chosen to identify Jesus at his arrest.  Only someone who knew him intimately, could recognize him in the dark of night, and could approach him without being challenged would be fit to certify the correct man had been taken.

(2.)  There are many teachings within the Bible that suggest obedient believers will have inner peace and therefore display a sublime light about their countenance.  Included are the incident when Moses came down from Mount Sinai after many days and nights in the presence of GOD.  The prophet’s face gave off a peculiar light (we say, shone), and beamed reflecting divine glory.  The people were frightened by this so much that, for a time, Moses had to wear a veil over his face whenever he left the Tabernacle, and walked among the people.  Similarly, when the 120 men and women tarrying together as disciples of Jesus received the sacred gifts promised from GOD at Pentecost, the divine presence appeared as tongues of fire upon each person’s head.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually understood.  For example, (3.)  In the account of a woman being healed by touching the hem of the Savior’s garment, believers learn that Jesus accomplished miracles of exorcism and healing through the imparting of virtue that resided within himself.  From the time of his public baptism, Jesus was anointed, consecrated, ordained, and full of the Holy Spirit.  Believers proclaim Jesus the image of the invisible GOD, the firstborn of every creature, and one in whom the fullness of the Father dwells.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

The divine creation of the armies of Israel, the separating judgment against Jericho, and more on deliverance and interventions by GOD are topics, today.  The “Yahoo! Answers” writer using ID “Edgar” (Level 1 with 113 points, a member since July 1, 2013) posted the following:

How was the Walls of Jericho justified?

How did God let Moses take down a city with innocent civilians after the 40- year wait? How could this be even be justified? War in many beliefs are seen as immoral and barbaric. Could’nt they just go wander off the desert somewhere else and find it with another route to the Promised Land? No need to harm others.

Additional Details

We don’t know what even occurred in the supposed land of Jericho? They just said no entry and that’s it. Look at immigration. Many Christians support this form of entry and you go against a border?

So war is acceptable in terms of favoritism? Sounds like Lord of the Rings to me.

THE BATTLE AXE:  GOD Intervenes? (07/01/2013)—When speaking of GOD, believers repeatedly seek to acknowledge the authority, exalted majesty and sovereign power of the Creator as well as what are supposed to be the supernatural aspects of divinity.  Included may be such features as foreknowledge, immortality, omnipresence, and omniscience.  However, the actual process of GOD within the life of believers appears through features of their routine, daily living.   Those who choose baptism must internalize and continually respond to spirit matter from GOD (we say, divine DNA, or the imparted, indwelling Spirit).  A person may say they have been prevented from self-destruction and wickedness (saved or stopped) because their attitudes, awareness, behavior, and conduct are altered through sacred knowledge; exchange, interaction and sharing within a covenant community; unselfish giving and service; and the acquisition of eternal goals and purposes.  See Romans 6:  3-6, Ephesians 2:  10 and Colossians 3:  1-25, KJV.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  When the LORD thy God shall bring thee into the land whither thou goest to possess it, and hath cast out many nations before thee, the Hittites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, seven nations greater and mightier than thou;  And when the LORD thy God shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor shew mercy unto them:  Neither shalt thou make marriages with them; thy daughter thou shalt not give unto his son, nor his daughter shalt thou take unto thy son.  For they will turn away thy son from following me, that they may serve other gods: so will the anger of the LORD be kindled against you, and destroy thee suddenly.  But thus shall ye deal with them; ye shall destroy their altars, and break down their images, and cut down their groves, and burn their graven images with fire.  For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God:  the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.  The LORD did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people:  But because the LORD loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers, hath the LORD brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.  Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;  And repayeth them that hate him to their face, to destroy them:  he will not be slack to him that hateth him, he will repay him to his face.  (Deuteronomy 7:  1-10, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  What to Take Literally (03/11/2013); A GOD of War? (03/12/2013); “Authorized Personnel Only”? (03/13/2013); Why So Much Murder? (01/12/2013); Confusion 2013 (01/13/2013); Why Did The Judges Fight? (10/19/2012); The Spirit is Willing (10/20/2012); Violence In The Bible (02/26/2012); (09/13/2011) Dispatch 34:  The Servant Must Not Strive

Edgar, here are some points that Christian believers find useful for understanding the things from GOD that are recorded as the Holy Bible:

(1)  Sacred writings require more than simply descriptions of people and places, facts or statistics, and sequential narrative.  A reader must proceed with a knowledge of divine law, various sacred operations (such as covenant, judgment, promise, and prophecy), and a clear view of eternal purposes.  The Bible provides a divine point of view reporting sacred events through thousands of lives over the course of thousands of years.

(2)  In the same way we are told GOD created the nation of Israel, GOD created the armies of Israel.  The mixed multitude that fled from Egypt after witnessing the plagues (i.e., judgments) against Pharaoh  consisted primarily of farmers, shepherds and livestock handlers who had no knowledge of tactics, strategies or weapons.  Many miracles to establish discipline and divine order are recorded, even that men should use a paddle to bury what would come from their bodies when they relieve themselves.  Just as armies may be destroyed in the kitchen (through their food becoming contaminated), the health of a camp is preserved through maintenance of the sleeping quarters (the bedroom), and by having a proper latrine area (we say, bathroom).

(3)  Jericho was a “fenced” or walled city, and was seen by all as an impregnable stronghold—a siege there could last an entire generation (40 years).  Therefore, overcoming Jericho quickly would set the tone for all further encounters.  Jericho was the first major assault in the Promised Land, the first assault without Moses, and the first assault with Joshua as leader.  Not only were there issues of confidence, élan and morale, the Israelites all (men, women and children) would have to engage issues of covenant-keeping, faith, obedience, and recognizing the active presence of GOD.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example,  (4)  For centuries, the men of seven tribes were in covenant with GOD, and had prospered upon the land that Israel was now to receive.  Like Pharaoh, after repeated backsliding, betrayal, covenant-breaking, idol worship, ignored warnings, malice toward GOD, and sin the seven tribes finally came under separating judgment, and were to be utterly destroyed and removed.  Instead of brute force, another form of power was revealed that could only be acknowledged as from GOD.)   Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

THE BATTLE AXE: The Passion at Gethsemane (03/28/2013)—Just as Jesus endured many experiences of inner disquiet that could only be resolved through prayer, reflection and unselfish service, every believer must experience unresolved spiritual events. What we typically call a “crisis of faith” in fact may be “such as is common to man,” and an aspect of spiritual growth that should be regarded as customary, predictable and standard (see again Psalms 37: 1-40, KJV). Only where properly anchored in things past and strengthened though the indwelling spirit, are followers of Christ able to embrace all the things that are ongoing as well as things prophesied and things yet to come. Where Jesus was in agony and sorrowed, it was not from self-pity, a notion that his ministry had failed, or for fear of suffering and death. His inner nature was resisting and fighting off the transformation whereby he would portray all sin upon the cross, and he was increasingly aware that the Father’s withdrawal had begun (see 2nd Corinthians 5: 21, 2nd Chronicles 24: 20, Psalm 22: 1, Mark 15: 34, KJV). His prayer vigil and submission at Gethsemane would also be Jesus’ answer to charges by Caiaphas and the Sanhedrin that he was guilty of defiance, rebellion and blasphemy (see Matthew 26: 58-68, KJV).

THE GOLDEN ARROW: I will mention the lovingkindnesses of the LORD, and the praises of the LORD, according to all that the LORD hath bestowed on us, and the great goodness toward the house of Israel, which he hath bestowed on them according to his mercies, and according to the multitude of his lovingkindnesses. For he said, Surely they are my people, children that will not lie: so he was their Saviour. In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the angel of his presence saved them: in his love and in his pity he redeemed them; and he bare them, and carried them all the days of old. But they rebelled, and vexed his holy Spirit: therefore he was turned to be their enemy, and he fought against them. (Isaiah 63: 7-10, KNV)

A husband and wife, Ananias and Sapphira, are reported having “lied to the Holy Ghost” in Acts chapter 5, King James Version. The nature of their sin went beyond betrayal of the early church community, covetousness, debt, disorderly conduct, fraud, and perjury. The pair demonstrated blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. As new creatures alive in ongoing judgment before GOD through the Spirit of Jesus, the pair annulled their rebirth, broke covenant with the congregation of believers, and denied union with the Father and the Son. The two had no other source for life, and so, dropped dead as victims of their own choices for materialism. Given it is the absolute and total rejection of divinity, blasphemy against the Holy Ghost places a seal upon ones inner nature so that there can never be the rebirth and repentance that comes only by the operation of the Holy Spirit. The grace of GOD is permanently refused (see again 2nd Chronicles 24: 20 and Hebrews 10: 23-31, KJV).

As an apostle, Peter had learned directly from Jesus as a constant companion, such that Peter was a living ark of testimony. While the work of the apostles did include baptizing new believers, exorcism, healing, preaching, and establishing new local congregations, their preeminence was that they had been specially prepared to serve as witnesses of Jesus’ resurrection, and as witnesses for the Advent of the Holy Spirit. Peter, John and others were not given authority to bestow or remove the Holy Spirit by the laying on of hands. However, their demonstrations and prayers for others to receive the Spirit were usually answered; and the apostles then certified whether the manifestations were the same as those at Pentecost.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, Ananias and Sapphira are figures (types) like Adam and Eve. Neither pair assigned right value (judgment) upon their inheritance from GOD (the Holy Spirit that covered their nakedness, and the Holy Ghost that fell on Pentecost). Therefore, righteous judgments from GOD were revealed to admonish, benefit and guide all who thereafter would be endowed with spiritual gifts from GOD.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

Be encouraged as we begin the first day of 2013 continuing to embrace eternal life. A writer accuses GOD of murder; and the topics of judgment and sin are discussed. Also, there is more on blessing for those in competitive sports. A “Yahoo! Answers” writer using the ID “Bill” (Level 2 with 268 points, a member since October 22, 2010) posted the following:

Why does God tell Moses to have a bunch of people murdered in Exodus 32: 27?

I’m more of a New Testament guy but am currently reading the Old Testament. I’m shocked to have just read Exodus chapter 32 verse 27.

” And he said unto them, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Put every man his sword by his side, and go in and out from gate to gate throughout the camp, and slay every man his brother, and every man his companion, and every man his neighbour.

verse 28 “And the children of Levi did according to the word of Moses: and there fell of the people that day about three thousand men”

So what is up with this—I don’t get it? Thanks!

Additional Details

ok I”m understanding this more—thanks. yes after seeing a number of miracles from God a number of the Jews, while Moses was still meeting with God, were participating in activities not at all pleasing unto God, Moses asked the Jews who was with him after this and those who were with him joined him, those that did not join him were killed. Yes God would have been angry at those worshipping the golden calf, etc. as he had explicitly forbade such behavior, God probably also felt very betrayed after delivering them out of their Egyptian captivity. The God of the Old Testament admits he is quite jealous.

THE BATTLE AXE: Will GOD Bless My Team? (12/31/2012)—Do not be deceived. The games that are our national pastimes (baseball, football, soccer, etc.) are genuine celebrations of life that see camaraderie, fellowship, and solidarity. However, these should not be confused with spiritual growth, the acknowledgments of eternal life, unity, and sanctified worship. Amusements and sports are not condemned across the board as an offense to GOD (1st Corinthians 6: 12 and 10: 23, KJV). Yet, as often seen with modern politics, the advertising hype for athletic games frequently use imagery and language associated with spiritual beliefs. This is done (e.g., Hail Mary!) even to the point of blasphemy and disrespect; and the hidden influence of the Adversary is revealed, for there is no encouragement of humility, obedience, praise, sobriety, submission, and thanksgiving to GOD. The Father does not send forth Jesus, the Son, to die upon the cross so that men may realize vain hopes (i.e., desires and expectations that lack spirit content, and sacred focus), or to answer foolish prayers for selfish pleasure. While the holy writings encourage believers to strive for excellence in all that they do, and to make choice with an eye to pleasing GOD (e.g., 1st Corinthians 10: 31, Philippians 2: 13 and 4: 13, Colossians 3: 17, KJV); ones actions, offerings, prayers and worship still may come under condemnation (Proverbs 15: 7-9 and 28: 9, KJV). Even nonbelievers understand that, in Christ, religious ceremony, Sunday church attendance, and ritual are no guarantee of salvation; all are cautioned (2nd Timothy 3: 1-5, KJV). More than this, in Scripture, the impartiality that establishes GOD as righteous in judgment is proclaimed (Ecclesiastes 9: 2 and 11, KJV) as is the favor of GOD to the wise (Ecclesiastes 9: 1, KJV). To the extent men compete risking life and limb to demonstrate the endurance, skills and stamina of mortal flesh, there is no lasting accomplishment having the weight of things for eternal glory. In Jesus’ day and during the church’s time of growth through the apostles, gatherings for displays and duels of gladiator’s were continually being held in arenas and stadiums (also called “theatres”). Pious Jews and early Christian believers who did not involve themselves in the social mix of the market place, also avoided the games used to pacify the common people, criminals, gamblers, and the unemployed (derisively known as “the mob”). The Apostle Paul makes reference to the games held at Ephesus in clarifying the doctrines of resurrection, the self-discipline he himself practices, and the process of new life for a follower of Jesus (1st Corinthians 15: 12-32, KJV). It remains, the power of GOD cannot be turned to every human purpose, and even divine purposes may be frustrated through human unbelief (see Mark 6: 1-6, KJV).

THE GOLDEN ARROW: Woe to the rebellious children, saith the LORD, that take counsel, but not of me; and that cover with a covering, but not of my spirit, that they may add sin to sin: (Isaiah 30: 1, King James Version)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: The Law Not Flawed (12/30/2012); Vows and Covenants (12/17/2012); Why Did The Judges Fight? (10/19/2012); The Cause Of Unrest (01/30/2012); The Need For GOD (01/31/2012); (08/21/2011) Dispatch 13: Peace (The Lord); A Fig Tree Cursed? (10/o2/2010)

Bill, you want to remember that GOD is revealing himself as a supreme judge above all mankind. As with the flood of Noah’s day, and the plagues against Egypt, graphic and fearful destruction comes into view, because sin and its threat against humanity is “invisible” and barely detectable except as a cumulative result of deeds (i.e., outcomes piled up over time).

As humans we have to take in the lessons of GOD in visceral ways (through the gut, so to speak). We repeatedly fail to see the cosmic significance of our choices and deeds. It has no meaning to many of us that we must exist in a social web that embraces more than mankind, and extends over the universe.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, sin opposes the existence of divine law, of divinity, and of all Creation. Sin is more than simply a bad attitude, misconduct, naughty behavior, and sexual depravity. Sin was first realized among the holy angels; and has spread like an epidemic disease. Unlike death and disease, sin does not respond to the will of GOD, because sin does not exist as a carnal, material or social truth having dimension, form, or substance. Nonetheless, sin has direction, effect and presence. Sin is not a created thing, yet sin may dominate the will of created beings and living creatures. The divine acts of Incarnation, birth, death and resurrection by the person of Jesus Christ absolutely must occur to resolve the judgment against sin—not against mankind.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

Who may receive Christian love, the celebration of holidays/holy days, and more on the burden believers accept as followers of Jesus Christ are topics, today. A “Yahoo! Answers” writer using the ID “lazybones” (Level 6 with 35,427 points, a member since July 27, 2006) posted the following:

Is the ‘love’ of Christians reserved for other Christians only?

THE BATTLE AXE: His Burden is Light? (12/10/2012)—Maturing as a Christian believer also includes going through moments of uncertainty, and overcoming every crisis of faith. In addition to the difficulty that comes in having to learn the details of sacred doctrine and teachings, every believer must endure encounters with themselves, with others, and with GOD in prayer that challenge them to realize their personal understanding of the Gospel message. Before one reaches the point where they can speak with authority and insight to share spiritual truth that will minister to the specific needs of others, a believer must have partnership with the imparted, indwelling spirit of GOD. A believer must master walking in humility and without lies as though constantly under the gaze of GOD. It is sure knowledge of the holy writings, and the presence of the Holy Spirit that makes the burden “light”. Christian soul-winners all will meet opposition from believers “in name only,” heretics, hypocrites, and misguided persons within the church; coworkers, family and neighbors; jokers, mockers, scoffers, and slackers; those rooted in other belief systems (e.g., astrophysics, atheism, Buddhism, Islam, LGBT) as well as criminals, infidels, popular culture, unclean spirits, and unrepentant sinners. See 2nd Timothy 2: 3-4, KJV.

THE GOLDEN ARROW: Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved. For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth. (Romans 10: 1-4, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: Love in Christ (10/23/2012); Escape from Racism (10/24/2012); Why Did The Judges Fight? (10/19/2012); The Spirit is Willing (10/20/2012); Still The “Chosen”? (03/19/2012); The Cause Of Unrest (01/30/2012); The Need For GOD (01/31/2012); A Fig Tree Cursed? (10/02/2010)

When I saw that the first candle of Hanukah was about to be lit, I decided I would not send greetings to my brothers in faith, this year; and I began to wonder if I really ever have had any. It occurred to me, they do not “share” Hanukah (or anything else), because their holidays/holy days are gatherings for family only, or require being separate and apart. When I spoke to GOD in prayer about it, I mentioned some of the folk who were special to me, confessed feeling betrayed, and wondered whether they believed in GOD at all. How could they ever have been in covenant with my Father in heaven, when so much of what they’ve shown me now seems hateful? Surely there will be judgment against them in spite of our love. I began to ask whether GOD has been able to establish a true bond of respect and trust among us.

As one who continues to acknowledge the Holy One of Israel by observance of the seventh-day Sabbath, and who honors the Most High GOD through the Mosaic covenant as configured by Jesus as Messiah and Christ, I also acknowledge many of the customs, gifts and traditions documented as given by GOD that were comforts and terms of earlier covenants. In most cases, believers in Jesus do not receive identity as “cultural Jews,” however, once born-again, still developing believers are new creatures, and spiritual Jews.

Rightly understood, “Christian love” derives from ones endowment of divine substance that comes from the being and person of Christ. As such, the believer is merely a vessel wherein GOD has deposited a measure of himself. As the children of GOD, in service to the Father, believers manifest (i.e., make visible) the divine presence, and fulfill his commitment to sacred process (e.g., Creation, judgment, redemption, salvation, sanctification). Believers love by spreading the gospel, encouraging salvation through Jesus Christ, and maintaining lifestyles centered in prayer, sacred studies, unselfish service, and worship.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, the Holy Spirit establishes a peculiar awareness of Jewish culture that centers in a sacred history unknown to many contemporary Jews. Through sin that dominates self-will in created beings and living creatures, many Jews, Islamic believers, and others are plagued by cultural arrogance, ethnic separatism, and racism. Unlike those in Christ, they often acknowledge no divinely given answer to the seminal issues of death, duty, hope, joy, love, resurrection, righteousness, sacred judgment, trust, wisdom and eternal life.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

The testimony of the Apostle Paul and his standing as one who sinned despite great knowledge of the law are the focus, today. Also, there are more thoughts on ethics, government, leadership, and vigilance. A “Yahoo! Answers” writer using the ID “Will” (Level 2 with 305 points; a member since September 21, 2012) posted the following:

The Bible says sinners are of the devil, and Paul was sinning so does this mean he was of the devil?

“He who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work.” 1 John 3:8

“I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do.” Romans 7:15

“Thanks be to God–through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, I myself in my mind am a slave to God’s law, but in the sinful nature a slave to the law of sin.” Romans 7:25

THE BATTLE AXE: Thoughts Upon A Warrior’s Fall (11/15/2012)—Counsel from the holy writings continue as vital in defense of men and nations. Too many of our champions and guardians are now being defeated through cultural arrogance, spiritual ignorance, terrorism (not righteous warfare), and whoredom. Consider again: Such is the way of an adulterous woman; she eateth, and wipeth her mouth, and saith, I have done no wickedness (Proverbs 30: 20, KJV). The fall of Osama Ben Laden (at home, with family, and surrounded by a civilian population), and now the defeat of General Petraeus (by recklessness as a husband, and disgrace as a government official) were both upon battlefields that pertain to what the Qur’an identifies as jihad-al-akbar (the Greater Jihad). That peculiar teaching of jihad cautions believers that the day-to-day struggle against sin and evil occurring within oneself and their community as they daily pursue seemingly mundane yet lawful activity is more important in the acknowledgment of GOD than necessary armed combat, conflict, and warfare. Could properly “knowing the enemy” have altered the policy and goals of “dead or alive” with “kill rather than capture—U. S. forces appear to have granted their adversary the high honor of Islamic martyrdom. Going further, at a time when the Nation continues facing conflicts generated by the economy, the command structure of the military now appears more vulnerable and weak than ever before because of multiple violations of military codes and discipline, including the pursuit of carnal pleasure that undermines duty, and diminishes content of ones divine spirit. Surely, the comparisons will be made to Samson, the son of Manoah, and his fall through a consort, Delilah (see Judges 16, KJV). The American military may only become a symbol of social and spiritual corruption where the American people surrender their high standards for law, love, obedience, respect and truth. Before GOD, covenant as a community makes it that oneness in pursuit of shared carnal, political and social goals establishes oneness in accomplishment, accountability, dishonor, ignominy, and judgment (see Numbers 15: 30-41, Proverbs 20: KJV). THE GOLDEN ARROW: For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. For he that is dead is freed from sin. Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him: Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him. For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God. Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God. (Romans 6: 5-11, KJV)

Mature believers in Jesus Christ as their own redeemer and savior generally agree that among the various rules for correct understanding from the Holy Scriptures is a strict requirement that a reader always look for harmony and agreement among the many fragments, parts and segments of the full presentation (i.e., from beginning to end). Those who seek contradictions, corruption and errors will remain blind to the divine content conveyed, and unable to receive the sacred substance the Scriptures transmit.

Saul of Tarsus is presented to the church as an “ordinary man” born through no miraculous events (as the Herald and Prophet, John the Baptist or as the promised Messiah, Jesus of Nazareth). Saul (later Paul) was educated and served the covenant of Moses as one whose inheritance was that of a Pharisee, and a Roman citizen. Deputized by leaders of the Temple Community, Paul became a leader in the persecution of the early church. His role as “lord, high executioner” gave him authority to arrest, detain, torture as well as endorse, oversee and act as official witness to public execution by stoning. Through those tormented and condemned, Paul was exposed to the doctrine and teachings of Christ; and became deeply impressed by the spirit content of believers in their conviction, their humility, their joy and acceptance of death. Paul was converted from ceremonial Judaism, and became convinced that GOD truly was working through an incarnation as the man Jesus of Nazareth. Christ appeared to Paul, who was traveling to Damascus to identify Christians there that were in hiding by forcing their families, friends, and fellow-believers to betray, and denounce them.

By the intervention of Christ and himself having received the Holy Ghost, Paul was able to realize that the Gospel was to be understood as the proclamation of eternal truth having application to more than merely historical, material, political and social realities. Such elements as ceremonies, customs, law, rites and traditions all were to be viewed in the light of divinity, spiritual purpose, and sacred process.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, unlike those who lack the imparted, indwelling Spirit, Paul realized that, apart from the provisions of GOD, the intelligence of created beings and living creatures cannot recognize the operation and presence of sin. The various forms of law (e.g., decrees, ordinances, practices, rituals, statutes, testimonies) permit some knowledge of sin, yet, do not eliminate sin. Through Jesus, mankind has now received greater tools for detecting and resisting sin: his human, yet, divine example as well as a divine endowment, the Holy Spirit. Sin, first discovered among the angels, speaks to more than simply naughty behavior, poor conduct and disobedience. Sin opposes divine law, divine being, and the existence of all Creation.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

Christian maturity, covenant, and law are topics, today, with more on escaping racism. A “Yahoo! Answers” writer using the ID “Ian” (Level 1 with 37 points, a member since September 30, 2012) posted the following:

Why do most Christians ignore God’s laws?

THE BATTLE AXE: Escape from Racism (10/24/2012)— Because they identify racism with social realities, many fail to recognize that racism is a spiritual problem that derives from sin, an influence that dominates the will of created beings and living creatures, and that opposes the divine existence of GOD. Despite accounts from the Bible and The Book of Mormon, bias, discrimination, prejudice and racism (called being a respecter of persons in Scripture) are forms of unrighteous judgment, and therefore are disgusting and hateful to GOD. Becoming free of racism within others as well as from within oneself, requires power that comes only from GOD. At no time in the history of mankind has the righteousness of GOD been identified as the result of skin color, and ethnic origin. Yet, condemnation, and the curse of GOD against sin have been promoted as portrayed through race. Mature believers from every ethnic origin now trust that Jesus Christ has broken-off every curse that may have come through earlier forms of the law. In many settings where racism now appears, doctrinal differences were first at issue; and racism emerged later as the corruption of sacred truth. While originally competition, conflict, division and schism may have begun through the Devil, racism appears maintained primarily through operation of the world system. There, contrary to the holy writings and promptings by the Spirit of GOD, mankind insists upon customs and traditions that amplify racial differences, and that enlarge human error. Clearly the Scriptures teach us that there are divine standards for holy service, for entering the presence of GOD, and for obtaining divine favor. As demonstrated by the account of Abel and Cain (sons of Adam), every sacrifice is not answered with holy fire confirming acceptable worship, and commanded obedience. Standards for the people of GOD, and genuine priesthood after the things in heaven, have been demonstrated through Jesus Christ, the Incarnate person of GOD. In Scripture, class differences began among the sons of Adam very early on the basis of such elements as prowess in hunting (Nimrod). Later, ethnic discrimination appears against the Jews (who were herdsmen, keepers of livestock), that apparently began in Egypt on the basis of occupation. The Jews were not chosen as a divine instrument to promote their ethnicity, their economic productivity, or any racial differences. Nor were the Jews taken into covenant to perpetuate racial conflict. Even so, wherever the people in the covenant of Moses have gone in Diaspora, there have been problems that result because they must separate (i.e., be cleansed and set apart) to serve Almighty GOD. Like many contemporary Jews, some Christians account themselves socially acceptable and involved in the great issues of modern society. However, they too have a duty to be “a peculiar people,” and should answer sanctification, the operation of the imparted, indwelling Spirit from GOD whereby a believer is set apart to be further made fit for eternal life.

THE GOLDEN ARROW: Behold, I have taught you statutes and judgments, even as the Lord my God commanded me, that ye should do so in the land whither ye go to possess it. Keep therefore and do them; for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the nations, which shall hear all these statutes, and say, Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people. For what nation is there so great, who hath God so nigh unto them, as the Lord our God is in all things that we call upon him for? And what nation is there so great, that hath statutes and judgments so righteous as all this law, which I set before you this day? Only take heed to thyself, and keep thy soul diligently, lest thou forget the things which thine eyes have seen, and lest they depart from thy heart all the days of thy life: but teach them thy sons, and thy sons’ sons; Specially the day that thou stoodest before the Lord thy God in Horeb, when the Lord said unto me, Gather me the people together, and I will make them hear my words, that they may learn to fear me all the days that they shall live upon the earth, and that they may teach their children. (Deuteronomy 4: 5-10, King James Version)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: Double Standard?      Until they are mature, created beings and living creatures do not fully grasp the divine realities of law from GOD. While the law is to make Almighty GOD, who is nonmaterial and spirit both known and visible, there are many other sacred operations and purposes accomplished through the law that at first cannot be seen, and understood. The law must respond to many subtle points (barely visible differences; fine details), and goes beyond attitudes, behavior, and conduct of the living. Law is a display of divine will, thus, in this sense, the law itself is invisible; and may only be “seen” after being assimilated, and internalized. Do you see what I mean?

When still developing, many Christians acknowledge the covenant of Moses (called “the law” in Scripture) as an historical foundation for Christian belief. However, they mistakenly understand the covenant as having been ended by Jesus, rather than transformed, improved, and extended. These incorrectly apply the critiques that identify the shortcomings of the Mosaic covenant, and its system of animal sacrifices for atonement, and propitiation of sin. In addition to condemning the rites and ceremonies from the Tabernacle and Temple, many condemn all the civil law, ordinances, statutes and testimonies of Israel, pointing to them as the cause of the failures and sins of the people. More than this, they do not yet comprehend the various connections among faith, forgiveness, humility, judgment, love, obedience, and righteousness.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, when lacking balance and depth of understanding, many are prone to regard salvation as a free gift that demands no action, or change on the part of believers. While they are correct that, as with the Creation of mankind, salvation is an operation of divine person, and that believers have no active part or “say” in the sacred process; it remains, believers must respond to various disciplines and standards for fellowship within the body of Christ. All believers do not preach or sing in the choir, yet, all are given the “work” of spreading the Gospel through their routines of daily living.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.
