Today, reply is on the requirement that covenant relationship as a Christian demands “perfection”. Followers of Jesus Christ are to be made divine in their nature and possibilities through the final sacred acts that complete the transformation of mankind to exist as an eternal companion to divinity. Like depending on Jesus to provide immortality and incorruptibility, submitting to be made perfect through the operations of GOD does not discourage, intimidate, or go beyond what followers of the Lord will accomplish by relying on the finished works of Christ. It is written: 1st Corinthians 15: 50-57, King James Version (KJV): 50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. 51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. 55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? 56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. God is real

THE GOLDEN ARROW: My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. (James 1: 2-4, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: The Spirits Are Subject (10/28/2020); Spiritual Integrity and Maturity (05/12/2020); They Which Are Called (04/09/2020); Pray For Your Enemies? (01/03/2020); Spiritual Combat Against Sin (10/11/2019); The Perfection Of Divinity (09/17/2019); How Sinners Become Perfect (11/26/2018)

“jimmie”, among Christians, to be “perfect” is to lack nothing, and to be in a divine process of transformation, yet, to display fullness, integrity, and soundness. There are assurances and promises from GOD that seal and make divine proclamations and prophecy as if “already done.” Perfection may be attributed to someone (i.e., imputed) even though it is developing and ongoing. In the same way our becoming adult requires that we increasingly display maturity (such features as accountability, balance, consistency, sobriety, stability) and do not simply age or get older, sinners who become “born again” following the death and burial of their inborn spirit through water baptism must “grow up again” and be made ripe for harvest from the earth by Jesus Christ at his coming. The final operations to establish perfection are completed as those in resurrection and those lifted up go to meet the Savior in the air. While still on the earth, sinners are to acknowledge forbearance, forgiveness and divine restraint that are expressions of celestial grace, rather than the direct outcomes and results of divine judgment. Every Christian believer must undergo permanent change that is provided by multiple operations of the Holy Spirit. Included are edification, gradual growth, justification, repentance, reconciliation, sanctification, and willingness to perform unselfish service. Along with demonstrating the “patience of the saints,” those who will follow Christ are to exist as the new creation displaying divine substance such as longsuffering, lovingkindness, oneness without sameness, personhood, praise, wisdom, and wrath against sin. Believers are to resemble, reflect, and reveal the character and likeness of Jesus within their own lifestyle and daily routines. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible and a selection from the music ministry of Babbie Mason:

(1.) 1st Kings 8: 57-66, King James Version (KJV): 57 The LORD our God be with us, as he was with our fathers: let him not leave us, nor forsake us: 58 That he may incline our hearts unto him, to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments, and his statutes, and his judgments, which he commanded our fathers. 59 And let these my words, wherewith I have made supplication before the LORD, be nigh unto the LORD our God day and night, that he maintain the cause of his servant, and the cause of his people Israel at all times, as the matter shall require: 60 That all the people of the earth may know that the LORD is God, and that there is none else. 61 Let your heart therefore be perfect with the LORD our God, to walk in his statutes, and to keep his commandments, as at this day. 62 And the king, and all Israel with him, offered sacrifice before the LORD. 63 And Solomon offered a sacrifice of peace offerings, which he offered unto the LORD, two and twenty thousand oxen, and an hundred and twenty thousand sheep. So the king and all the children of Israel dedicated the house of the LORD. 64 The same day did the king hallow the middle of the court that was before the house of the LORD: for there he offered burnt offerings, and meat offerings, and the fat of the peace offerings: because the brasen altar that was before the LORD was too little to receive the burnt offerings, and meat offerings, and the fat of the peace offerings. 65 And at that time Solomon held a feast, and all Israel with him, a great congregation, from the entering in of Hamath unto the river of Egypt, before the LORD our God, seven days and seven days, even fourteen days. 66 On the eighth day he sent the people away: and they blessed the king, and went unto their tents joyful and glad of heart for all the goodness that the LORD had done for David his servant, and for Israel his people.

(2.) Matthew 5: 43-48, KJV: 43 Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. 44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; 45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. 46 For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? 47 And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so? 48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

(3.) Romans 4: 8-13, KJV: 8 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin. 9 Cometh this blessedness then upon the circumcision only, or upon the uncircumcision also? for we say that faith was reckoned to Abraham for righteousness. 10 How was it then reckoned? when he was in circumcision, or in uncircumcision? Not in circumcision, but in uncircumcision. 11 And he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which he had yet being uncircumcised: that he might be the father of all them that believe, though they be not circumcised; that righteousness might be imputed unto them also: 12 And the father of circumcision to them who are not of the circumcision only, but who also walk in the steps of that faith of our father Abraham, which he had being yet uncircumcised. 13 For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, (4.) Pray On by Babbie Mason @ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=agh0uZZ0Bxc.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today, reply is on what may be called the “third judgment” where ones works are examined and assigned divine rewards. Christian believers are to understand that the final judgment to determine the sacred content that has appeared within each person who has lived on the earth has already begun; yet, the judgment to determine the rewards each person has earned by their own works (e.g., forgiveness, intercession, praise, sacrifice, teaching, thanksgiving) is yet to come. Sinners neither have to face Satan as their accuser nor Jesus Christ, for each person must answer the record of their own deeds that have been recorded in the books of life. It is written: Revelation 20: 12-14, King James Version (KJV): 12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. 13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. 14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. A fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion & Spirituality who uses the ID “𝕵𝖔𝖘𝖍 𝕬𝖑𝖋𝖗𝖊𝖉” (Level 4 with 4,069 points) posted the following:

Salvation: “Not by works,” yet, “all will be judged”. Can you reconcile this contradiction, Christians?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work, To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men. For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another. But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life. (Titus 3: 1-7, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: Only Divine Resurrection Saves (12/24/2019); The Purpose Of Worship (10//10/2019); That Not Of Yourselves (08/13/2019); To Be Jesus’ Sheep (06/10/2019); Salvation Through Jesus Christ (03/25/2019); Divine Preparations for Advent (03/17/2019); Forgiveness, Grace and Merit (06/22/2017)

“𝕵𝖔𝖘𝖍 𝕬𝖑𝖋𝖗𝖊𝖉”, mature Christian believers will acknowledge salvation as an operation or work of divinity only; a first and second death; a first and second resurrection; and three judgments. The judgment by divinity where the just are examined for salvation is separate from the judgment of the wicked (the White throne judgment); and there will be a separate judgment wherein the rewards for service and good works are distributed. The judgment by divine fullness (we also say, divinity; the Godhead; the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit) to identify the just and the righteous is a present and ongoing sacred work that will be completed when the Lord appears and as the first resurrection occurs. As vessels containing fresh endowments of spirit substance imparted from divinity, Christian believers are to exist on the earth as sons and daughters of GOD, joint-heirs with Jesus, and the new creation. Believers are to display the image of GOD, and are to resemble, reflect, and reveal the character and likeness of Jesus Christ. Those on the earth who become “born again” also must “grow-up again” and become mature/ripe for harvest at the appearing of the Savior (the Advent; the Rapture; the Second Coming). The righteous are to meet the Lord in the air, and will be taken to heaven where they will serve divinity through such works as completing the Holy City (New Jerusalem); allotting the portions for those of the first resurrection; and setting up the thrones for the courts of the second judgment where the wicked are to appear alive. The wicked will be judged following the second resurrection. While salvation is a work and gift from GOD, focus of the third judgment will be the bestowal of rewards earned by each person through their own service and works. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible, and a selection from the music ministry and prophecies of William Murphy:

(1.) Ephesians 2: 8-10, King James Version (KJV): 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

(2.) Hebrews 11: 6, KJV: 6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

(3.) 1st Corinthians 3: 11-15, KJV: 11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; 13 Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is. 14 If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. 15 If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

(4.) Revelation 21: 7-8, KJV: 7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. 8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Baptism and Fire

The image depicts Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego purified in the fiery furnace.

Today, reply is on salvation for sinners being primarily through the life and works of Jesus Christ, rather than by a believer’s own experience of water or fire baptism. The name of Jesus (i.e., his completed, ongoing, and yet to be finished works that are the basis of his reputation as sent from GOD) is to be acknowledged as a full and sufficient divine provision for remission of sin on earth as it is in heaven. It is written: Acts 4: 12, King James Version (KJV): 12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. THE GOLDEN ARROW: For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is. Norine”, there are only one baptism and one resurrection from death that can be acknowledged as joining mankind to divinity in rebirth, redemption, and salvation. Just as the presence of Jesus Christ within the fiery furnace preserved the companions of Daniel (Shadrach Meshach and Abednego), those who would have forgiveness for sin and reconciliation to GOD must have the presence of Christ in the life. Consciousness and self-will (willpower) within sinners and developing Christian believers must undergo permanent changes through operations of the Holy Spirit so that they completely abandon the inborn, self-centered process of heart and mind that is an obstacle to realizing the new creation. While all are to be held accountable for the fruitage they themselves produce by word and deed, they also must come to the sacred knowledge that atonement for sin, and the fresh endowment of life essence (breath; spirit; word) available from divinity are gifts bestowed on the basis of lovingkindness, divine prerogative, eternal purpose, and the sovereign will of GOD. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible, and a presentation on readiness for the Second Coming of Jesus Christ from the music ministry of Debra Barnes and the Barnes Family:

(1.) Hebrews 6: 1-3, King James Version (KJV): 1 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, 2 Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. 3 And this will we do, if God permit.

(2.) Romans 6: 3-13, KJV: 3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? 4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. 5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: 6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. 7 For he that is dead is freed from sin. 8 Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him: 9 Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him. 10 For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God. 11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. 12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. 13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.

(3.) Colossians 2: 8-13, KJV: 8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. 9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. 10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power: 11 In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ: 12 Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead. 13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;

lamb of God_thumb[2]

A depiction of divine fullness that includes the Holy Spirit with Jesus Christ as the Lion of Judah and the Lamb of GOD who takes away the sin of the world.

Today, the reply is on forgiveness as a release from sin that men on the earth receive through love and obedience appearing within the Son of GOD.  Forgiveness and mercy are intended for those who come to divine judgment, and are actually guilty.  Finite human tools such as intellect, science, and willpower do not provide mankind with sufficient integrity of being to appear sinless before divinity, or to display justification and worthiness for their own having eliminated sin. Salvation is the necessary divine operation wherein GOD extends forbearance, forgiveness, new life and reconciliation to mankind on the basis of the merit, sacrifice, virtue and works accomplished by Jesus Christ. It is written: 1st John 1: 5-10, KJV: 5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. 6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: 7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. 8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us. A fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion and Spirituality using the ID “Jeff” (Level 1 with 1 point, a member since November 20, 2018) posted the following:

I want to give all my guilt and regret and mistakes to God but I feel like I’m not worthy of forgiveness.?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: If thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand? But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared. I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope. My soul waiteth for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning. Let Israel hope in the LORD: for with the LORD there is mercy, and with him is plenteous redemption. And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities. (Psalm 130: 3-8, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: Paying For Our Sins? (08/20/2019); Spirit Using Human Form (08/16/2019); That Not Of Yourselves (08/13/2019); We Must Acknowledge Christ (08/08/2019); GOD Is The Creator? Jeff”, divine forgiveness displays that GOD the Creator is worthy of love, obedience, praise, and reverence from his Creation. Developing and mature Christian believers are encouraged to accept the truth that forgiveness appears as an aspect of the divine active presence, eternal process, and inseparable sacred substance. Forgiveness is to be received as a fresh endowment of the same life essence (breath; spirit; word) that was imparted to Adam and Eve. Included were faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, oneness without sameness, personhood, wisdom, and wrath against sin. While this and other divine content establishes opportunities and possibilities for created beings and living creatures to be in relationship with the Creator as heirs, offspring, and sons and daughters to GOD, both Adam and Eve violated the instructions they had been given, and transgressed against the divine law. The character and makeup of mankind was altered in such a way that all the descendants of Adam now receive an inheritance of being vulnerable to the operations of sin and ungodliness.

It is our profound need: it is not our ignorance, nor is it our innocence. It is what we have become through human error, and our condition as sinners who need change, release and repentance that qualifies us to receive a ministry of forgiveness that is extended to mankind through Jesus Christ, the Son of GOD. It is not that we are worthy; it is that Christ continues to be received as worthy before the Father; and the Son may intercede on behalf of those who are truly guilty. It is not by our influence, our skill, our talents; it is because the makeup of GOD is made visible through divine judgment that features compassion, completeness, impartiality, mercy, and righteousness. On the basis of human accomplishments demonstrated through divinity using flesh and blood as Jesus Christ (we say, Incarnation), there now are no issues of merit and worthiness for sinners to receive forgiveness.

Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

1. 1st John 4: 8-11, King James Version (KJV): 8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. 9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. 10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.

2. Isaiah 53: 3-6, KJV: 3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. 4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. 5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. 6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 3. Luke 7: 37-50, KJV: 37 And, behold, a woman in the city, which was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat at meat in the Pharisee’s house, brought an alabaster box of ointment, 38 And stood at his feet behind him weeping, and began to wash his feet with tears, and did wipe them with the hairs of her head, and kissed his feet, and anointed them with the ointment. 39 Now when the Pharisee which had bidden him saw it, he spake within himself, saying, This man, if he were a prophet, would have known who and what manner of woman this is that toucheth him: for she is a sinner. 40 And Jesus answering said unto him, Simon, I have somewhat to say unto thee. And he saith, Master, say on. 41 There was a certain creditor which had two debtors: the one owed five hundred pence, and the other fifty. 42 And when they had nothing to pay, he frankly forgave them both. Tell me therefore, which of them will love him most? 43 Simon answered and said, I suppose that he, to whom he forgave most. And he said unto him, Thou hast rightly judged. 44 And he turned to the woman, and said unto Simon, Seest thou this woman? I entered into thine house, thou gavest me no water for my feet: but she hath washed my feet with tears, and wiped them with the hairs of her head. 45 Thou gavest me no kiss: but this woman since the time I came in hath not ceased to kiss my feet. 46 My head with oil thou didst not anoint: but this woman hath anointed my feet with ointment. 47 Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little. 48 And he said unto her, Thy sins are forgiven. 49 And they that sat at meat with him began to say within themselves, Who is this that forgiveth sins also? 50 And he said to the woman, Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today, reply is on the dependence of salvation on the sacred element of grace, rather than on eternal condemnation, obedience, and other features associated with sacred law. Sinners are not justified by their own works, rather by the works of GOD. Many Christians speak of grace as unmerited favor, a special show of kindness, and of pardon for offenses. However, there is no “cause” or justification for displays of grace except that they are authentic expressions of the otherwise invisible and unseen personhood within divinity. In addition to gratitude and humility, the correct response to the grace of GOD that developing believers will provide include consistency, faithfulness, obedience, respect, righteousness, and trust. It is written: John 1: 15-17, King James Version (KJV): 15 John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me. 16 And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace. 17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. One of the fighters in the “Yahoo! Answers” Religion and Spirituality public forum who uses the ID “Forrest Toney” (Level 7 with 80,871 points, a member since February 12, 2011) posted the following:

How many Christians believe that they will escape Hell even though they don’t obey all of Jesus’ sayings?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: But there rose up certain of the sect of the Pharisees which believed, saying, That it was needful to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of Moses. And the apostles and elders came together for to consider of this matter. And when there had been much disputing, Peter rose up, and said unto them, Men and brethren, ye know how that a good while ago God made choice among us, that the Gentiles by my mouth should hear the word of the gospel, and believe. And God, which knoweth the hearts, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as he did unto us; And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith. Now therefore why tempt ye God, to put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear? But we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved, even as they. (Acts 15: 5-11, King James Version, KJV)

Forrest Toney”, in the same way Jesus Christ appears through the accord of divinity and not of himself, sinners are saved by grace (divine accord) rather than human devices. Among mature Christian believers, the operations and purposes of the law are directed to the functioning of Creation and the further putting forth of divine order, rather than to salvation and the recovery of mankind from sin. While sacred law defines, exposes, identifies sin, and makes a peculiar expression of divine love, the law itself does not declare forbearance, forgiveness, mercy, reconciliation, or redemption. Where believers focus on the judicial and legal concepts important to having benefits through the law, many continue in error failing to apprehend also that the invisible, unseen character, personhood, process, and substance of divinity are being openly displayed and revealed.

Sinners are saved by grace, an aspect of the full makeup of GOD. Without a saving relationship to divinity, whether they are conscious of it or not, ones condition by godly standards must be that of condemnation, guiltiness, misery, shame, and wretchedness. By the actions of grace, GOD dismisses both the darkness and negativity of their inner person, and their outward lifestyle, so to speak. Choosing to come to Christ, sinners are encouraged through changes, discoveries, new opportunities, and new possibilities.

Because of GOD’s grace embodied as Jesus Christ, inseparable aspects of the makeup of GOD are imparted to indwell those welcoming Christ through their own repentance. Included are faith, holiness, joy, respect, righteousness, wisdom, and wrath against sin. Every element and feature required for salvation is supplied, so that GOD’s grace is said to be “all sufficient.” Thus, more than simply that GOD has divine prerogative and the authority to do as he pleases, grace describes the flowing together of many different sacred elements and operations. Included are benevolence, generosity, eternal purpose, impartiality (no bias, bigotry, prejudice), and sovereign will. The elements of desire, determination, preference, and self-will (willpower) within the sinner have no effect or power to cause or determine a person’s salvation from the divine judgment against sin. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

1. 2nd Corinthians 12: 6-10, King James Version (KJV): 6 For though I would desire to glory, I shall not be a fool; for I will say the truth: but now I forbear, lest any man should think of me above that which he seeth me to be, or that he heareth of me. 7 And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure. 8 For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. 9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.

2. Ephesians 2: 4-7, KJV: 4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, 5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) 6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: 7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.

3. Ephesians 2: 8-10, KJV: 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 4. John 1: 10-13, KJV: 10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. 11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not. 12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: 13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

Spirits In Witness

Today, reply is on whether a believer having Jesus Christ as their Savior could lose the Holy Spirit. The blood of Jesus Christ, the Son of the Highest, has been provided as the only atonement and sacrifice for sins; and the operations of the Holy Spirit are not as a sacrifice for sin. Even so, as the co-worker of Jesus for the salvation of mankind, there is no greater spokesperson and witness sent by GOD to mankind than the Holy Spirit. Believers are to be workers with divinity. It is written: Psalms 51: 10-13, King James Version (KJV): 10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. 11 Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me. 12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit. 13 Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee. One of the fighters in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion and Spirituality who uses the ID “Anonymous” (no profile data shown) posted the following:

Please help clarify?

I have read that the Holy Spirit departs is when we are sinning so, If we are all born to sin and the spirit that is working in us is what helps us to be strong and resist and it is not of our power to resist strongholds … then how can the Holy Spirit help us if it departs??

THE GOLDEN ARROW: For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. (Romans 8: 15-17, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: Blaspheming the Holy Spirit (05/08/2019); Ye That Work Iniquity (09/24/2018); Repentance A Lifestyle Event (02/09/2018); (02/09/2018) When GOD Never Forgives? Anonymous”, even born again believers in Jesus Christ may resist and repel the Holy Spirit. Many mature Christian believers will agree that fire baptism and receiving the falling of the Holy Ghost are provided through the ministry of Jesus Christ as one-time events to permanently establish the active presence of Jesus within the life of a sinner who chooses to become a developing Christian believer. Living on the earth, new believers are to become mature/ripe for harvest by Jesus at his coming. Sinners will be transformed to exist as vessels of sacred substance through operations by the Holy Spirit (we also say, the Comforter, the Spirit of Grace, the Spirit of Prophecy, the Spirit of Truth). Inseparable aspects of divine fullness will be imparted from the makeup of GOD that include balance, faith, forbearance, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, perseverance, personhood, wisdom, and wrath against sin. Fresh deposits and endowments of life essence (breath; spirit; word) connect the developing believer to divinity as an offspring, an heir of GOD, and the new creation of Jesus Christ. Thereby, the Spirit is the primary witness that those formerly sinners are now become the children of GOD.

Developing believers are cautioned to discern, respond to promptings from the Spirit, and reverence the Holy Spirit at all times. Believers are to participate as workers who spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and who regularly assemble together with other members of the body (i.e., the church). Believers will not bear godly fruit where they rely only on such human tools as intellect, logic, philosophy, carnal reason, science, and finite self-will (willpower). There must be a divine increase that appears as authentic relationship. For this reason, blaspheming the Spirit will not be forgiven in this life, or the life to come. To disobey, argue against the Spirit, deny his consecration, and resist the Spirit annuls the workings of the Holy Spirit as the primary spokesperson sent from divinity. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible to describe the sacred process and substance that appear:

1. Leviticus 26: 13-24, King James Version (KJV): 13 I am the LORD your God, which brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, that ye should not be their bondmen; and I have broken the bands of your yoke, and made you go upright. 14 But if ye will not hearken unto me, and will not do all these commandments; 15 And if ye shall despise my statutes, or if your soul abhor my judgments, so that ye will not do all my commandments, but that ye break my covenant: 16 I also will do this unto you; I will even appoint over you terror, consumption, and the burning ague, that shall consume the eyes, and cause sorrow of heart: and ye shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it. 17 And I will set my face against you, and ye shall be slain before your enemies: they that hate you shall reign over you; and ye shall flee when none pursueth you. 18 And if ye will not yet for all this hearken unto me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins. 19 And I will break the pride of your power; and I will make your heaven as iron, and your earth as brass: 20 And your strength shall be spent in vain: for your land shall not yield her increase, neither shall the trees of the land yield their fruits. 21 And if ye walk contrary unto me, and will not hearken unto me; I will bring seven times more plagues upon you according to your sins. 22 I will also send wild beasts among you, which shall rob you of your children, and destroy your cattle, and make you few in number; and your high ways shall be desolate. 23 And if ye will not be reformed by me by these things, but will walk contrary unto me; 24 Then will I also walk contrary unto you, and will punish you yet seven times for your sins.

2. Matthew 13: 17-23, KJV: 17 For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them. 18 Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower. 19 When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side. 20 But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it; 21 Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended. 22 He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful. 23 But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.

3. Proverbs 1: 22-31, KJV: 22 How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge? 23 Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you. 24 Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded; 25 But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof: 26 I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh; 27 When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you. 28 Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me: 29 For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD: 30 They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof. 31 Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 4. Hebrews 10: 23-29, KJV: 23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) 24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: 25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. 26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, 27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. 28 He that despised Moses’ law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: 29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

Another Comforter

Tina L. Connor Think On These Things… (image reference below).

Today, reply is on the action and work of the Holy Spirit whom Jesus Christ sends to his church on the earth to continue the ministry of redemption and salvation. Jesus spoke of the divine agent he would send to the church from the Godhead as “the Comforter,” suggesting the primary role of the Spirit would be to help the flock endure the loss of the Good Shepherd. Other names given the Spirit (e.g., the Holy Ghost, the Spirit of Grace, the Spirit of Prophecy, the Spirit of Truth), make it clear that just as there are many gifts bestowed by the Spirit, there are many tasks and sacred works carried out by the Holy Spirit beyond addressing bereavement, uncertainty, and the absence of the Lord. The active presence himself from the Father and Son was the power the church needed to complete the work of displaying the image of Christ, global evangelism, and spreading the Gospel to all the world, fulfilling the Great Commission. It is written: Matthew 10: 16-22, King James Version (KJV): 16 Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves. 17 But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues; 18 And ye shall be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them and the Gentiles. 19 But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak. 20 For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you. 21 And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death. 22 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved. What does it mean that the Holy Spirit comforts you?

John 14:16-17

THE GOLDEN ARROW: And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word, By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus. And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness. And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common. And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all. (Acts 4: 29-33, King James Version, KJV)

Anonymous”, to obtain mercy sinners must enter into judgment; to obtain comfort, believers must enter into unselfish service and suffering. In the same way the Father and the Holy Spirit encouraged, reinforced and supported the ministry of divinity appearing on the earth using form and flesh (we say, the Incarnation as Jesus Christ), the Holy Spirit is the primary agent and representative of Jesus Christ as the High Priest in heaven who continues to build up, edify, and nourish the living body of divinity on the earth that is the church. Multiple sacred works are being performed to complete the transformation whereby created beings and living creatures will exist as immortal, incorruptible companions of the divine fullness (i.e., the Godhead; the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit). Sinners who turn to GOD through Jesus Christ are to receive a fresh endowment of life essence (breath; spirit; word). Inseparable spirit substance from the makeup of GOD is provided that establishes such elements as balance, faith, holiness, joy, longsuffering, lovingkindness, oneness without sameness, wisdom, wrath against sin, and zeal.

Atonement, forgiveness, judgment, eternal life and many of the works of GOD to recover and preserve Creation require that mankind receive deposits of spirit substance and perform works of tarrying, waiting, and witnessing sacred events that are to be completed by GOD. The comfort mankind must receive from divinity goes beyond the human condition as carnal, material, political, and social. More than hugs, kisses, drying our tears, and personal responses of affection are needed. Thus, divinity uses the frameworks of time and space when communicating, exchanging, and interacting with mankind; however, human life must be acknowledged as brief, episodic, lacking continuity, and unstable. Divine mechanisms are being shared that permit mortal beings to operate in relationship with GOD as though the frequent interruptions of appetite, emotion, sickness, and death do not occur. Included are assurance, atonement, covenant, dynasty, family, forgiveness, inheritance, longevity, pledge, prophecy, rebirth, resurrection from the dead, vision, and revelation.

Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

1. 2nd Corinthians 1: 2-7, King James Version (KJV): 2 Grace be to you and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. 3 Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; 4 Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.  5 For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ. 6 And whether we be afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effectual in the enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer: or whether we be comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation. 7 And our hope of you is stedfast, knowing, that as ye are partakers of the sufferings, so shall ye be also of the consolation.

2. 2nd Corinthians 7: 1-4, KJV: 1 Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. 2 Receive us; we have wronged no man, we have corrupted no man, we have defrauded no man. 3 I speak not this to condemn you: for I have said before, that ye are in our hearts to die and live with you. 4 Great is my boldness of speech toward you, great is my glorying of you: I am filled with comfort, I am exceeding joyful in all our tribulation.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 3. 1st Thessalonians 4: 13-18, KJV: 13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. 15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

Anything in my Name

Today, reply is on the unselfishness displayed as an aspect of the relationships within divine fullness (i.e., divinity; the Godhead; the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit), and appearing in the earthly ministry of Jesus Christ. The appearance of Jesus Christ as a single aspect of the full Godhead on the earth was not only to renew “the law and the prophets;” it also was to prepare mankind to receive a fresh endowment of spirit substance from the makeup of divinity. The divine process was revealed as including accord, mutuality, and unselfishness. Competition, covetousness, criticizing one another, envy, and self-promotion were excluded. The writer in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion and Spirituality who uses the ID “Anonymous” (no profile is shared) posted the following:

John 7:16 If Jesus were God, why didn’t he assume his teaching? Did he lie by saying that God’s teaching is not his?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was. I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word. Now they have known that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are of thee. For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me. I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine. And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them. And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are. While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled. And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves. (John 17: 5-13, King James Version, KJV)

(03/27/2019); A Single Sacred Revelation (01/09/2019); Discovering The Holy Spirit (12/23/2018); Completeness, Integrity And Wholeness? (06/21/2018); Christianity Is A Relationship (04/05/2018); GOD Appearing As Christ (12/03/2017)

Anonymous”, Christian believers are commanded to discern (i.e., use ones own spirit content from the makeup of GOD to recognize and respond to the same spirit as it appears in events, other persons, prophecy, the holy writings, etc.) and verify the truth that was spoken by Jesus Christ through their own practice of the divine law and sacred principles that convey the will of the Father in heaven. It is written: John 7: 16-18, King James Version (KJV): 16 Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me. 17 If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself. 18 He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him.

The makeup of divinity includes the full array of sacred substance. In addition to faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, wisdom and wrath against sin, there are personhood and “oneness” without “sameness”. Through Jesus Christ appearing on the earth (the Incarnation), the divine fullness (we also say, divinity; the Godhead; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit) is further revealed as interdependent and unselfish. The humanity of Jesus had to be authentic in every detail (e.g., birth, childhood, coming of age, maturity, suffering, death) except for the element of his sacred conception. The divine process for removing sin from Creation does not include competition or self-promotion. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

1. Zechariah 9: 9, King James Version (KJV): 9 Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.

2. John 14: 12-13, KJV: 12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. 13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 3. John 16: 7-15, KJV: 7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. 8 And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: 9 Of sin, because they believe not on me; 10 Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more; 11 Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged. 12 I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. 13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. 14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. 15 All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

Mark 3-29

Today, the reply addresses blaspheming the Holy Spirit as a transgression of relationship with divinity that will never be forgiven or tolerated, rather than a transgression of sacred law that may be covered and dismissed. Forgiveness for sin may only appear within the framework of a living relationship with divinity who is immortal, incorruptible, and invisible. Sin opposes the continued existence of divine law, the Lawgiver, and divine order throughout the universe. Just as there must be the workings of sacred knowledge within the awareness and self-will of the living for them to correctly grasp divine meanings and values, those coming to GOD through Jesus Christ are to be in accord with the full Godhead through the character, makeup and life process of Jesus. Maturity and unchanging elements for relationship are to appear that include acknowledging atonement for sin through the blood and body of Jesus as well as receiving justification from the Father through the righteous works of the Son. The followers of Christ are to develop willingness to be held accountable for ones own choices and decisions, integrity, respect, and unselfishness. It is written: Yeshayah 57: 15, Orthodox Jewish Bible (OJB): 15 For thus saith the High and Exalted, Shokhen Ad (the One Who abideth forever, i.e., the Shekhinah) Kadosh Shmo; I dwell in marom v’kadosh (the high and holy place), with him also that is of a contrite and lowly ruach, to revive the ruach of the shefalim (humble, lowly ones) and to revive the lev nidka’im (contrite of heart). Isaiah 57: 15, King James Version (KJV): 15 For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones. Christians why is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit unforgivable?

For example the Pharisees in the New Testament accused Jesus of being possessed with evil spirits/demons. At other times they accused him of following Satan. Apparently this is unforgivable. Why?

32 And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.

“But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation.” Mark 3:29

“Are they not the ones who blaspheme the honorable name by which you were called?” James 2:7

“Attributing the Holy Spirit’s work to an impure spirit (v. 30) is roughly tantamount to calling God Satan. ” – BibleGateway

THE GOLDEN ARROW: For if you live in accordance with the basar (old fallen humanity under slave master Chet Kadmon) you will certainly die; but if by the Ruach Hakodesh you put to death the [shameful] acts of the body, you will live. For as many as are led by the Ruach HaElohim, they are bnei HaElohim. For you did not receive a spirit of avdut, falling back into pachad (fear); but you received the Ruach of Mishpat HaBanim (Adoption), having Ma’amad HaBanim (the standing as Sons [9: 4]), by which we cry, “Abba, Avinu”! The Ruach Hakodesh himself bears eidus (witness) with our [regenerate, Yn 3: 6] ruach that we are bnei HaElohim. And if bnei HaElohim, then also yoreshim (heirs) of G-d and co-heirs (Ro 4: 13) together with Moshiach, provided that we suffer with him in order that we might also be set in kavod (glory, eschatological glorification) with him. (Kehillah 8: 13-17, Orthodox Jewish Bible, OJB)

For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. (Romans 8: 13-17, KJV)

Yoel Cohen”, blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is more than simply a verbal behavior, defaming and denying the Spirit, or the use of profanity and vulgar language. To blaspheme the Spirit (we also say, the Comforter; the Holy Ghost; the Spirit of Prophecy; the Spirit of Truth) is to betray, despise, lie against, and refuse to be in accord with the Spirit. Divinity has appeared among mankind on the earth using flesh as Jesus Christ (we say, the Incarnation). Where transgressions of divine law destroyed relationship between the Creator and the created, Christ revealed and made known unseen divine forgiveness, rebirth, reconciliation, sacrifice, and sanctification as sacred operations for repairing divine relationship with the living. The Holy Spirit continues the sacred works begun and demonstrated on the earth through the ministry of Jesus, yet, does not carry out a discrete agenda that is his own, and that exists as independent from Christ.

Among mature Christian believers, multiple streams of truth come together when seeking to apprehend the prohibition against blaspheming the Holy Spirit. In addition to acknowledging the character, makeup and process of divine fullness (we also say, divinity; the Godhead; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit) there must be a realization that personhood (we say, the image of God) imparted to mankind is to display the inseparable aspects of personhood that exist among the Godhead. Included are commitment, faith, holiness, joy, longsuffering, lovingkindness, oneness without sameness, wisdom, and wrath against sin. Communication, exchange and interaction with divinity for created beings and living creatures occurs through divine prerogative, eternal purpose, and the sovereign will of GOD.

GOD is active presence whose makeup and substance is spirit (we also say, breath; life essence; word). Spirit is diffuse, invisible, and has no material limits. Thus, men do not continue in direct personal relationship with the Holy Spirit so much as they serve as vessels that may contain gifts from the body and makeup of divinity (divine DNA, so to speak). Containing divine spirit, men and women are the children of GOD, sacred offspring, and joint heirs with Jesus Christ. Since the fall of Adam, and the condition of mortality being made constant for mankind, men on the earth may only connect, be joined to, or express themselves in continuing relationship with divinity through the ministry and works of Jesus Christ as spokesperson, Redeemer and Savior, and the Holy Spirit as the agent of the Lord. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

1. Yochanan 16: 7-15, Orthodox Jewish Bible (OJB): 7 But I tell HaEmes (the truth), it is better for you that I go away. For if I do not go away, the Melitz Yosher (Praklit, Advocate, Counselor, Helper in Court) will not come to you. But if go, I will send Him (the Ruach Hakodesh) to you. 8 And having come, that one will expose and convict the Olam Hazeh concerning Chet and concerning Tzedek and concerning Mishpat: 9 Concerning Chet (Sin), because they do not have emunah in me; 10 Concerning Tzedek [DANIEL 9: 24] because I go to HaAv and no longer do you see me; 11 And concerning Mishpat (Judgment) because the Sar HaOlam Hazeh has been judged. 12 Yet many things I have to tell you, but you are not able to bear them now. 13 But when that One has come, the Ruach Hakodesh, the Ruach HaEmes, He will guide you in all truth. [TEHILLIM 25: 5] For He will not speak on His own authority, but what things He will hear, He will speak, and the things that are to come He will announce to you. 14 That One will give kavod to me, because He will receive of what is mine, and will announce it to you. 15 All things which HaAv has are mine; therefore, I said that of mine He receives and will announce it to you.

John 16: 7-15, King James Version (KJV): 7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. 15 All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

2. Yehudim in Moshiach 10: 28-31, OJB: 28 Anyone who was doiche (rejecting or setting aside) the Torah of Moshe Rabbeinu, upon the dvar of SHNI EDIM O AL PI SHLOSHA EDIM (“Testimony of two or three witnesses” DEVARIM 19: 15), dies without rachamim.

29 By how much worse onesh (penalty) do you think the one will be considered worthy who trampled on the Ben HaElohim and also treated as mechallel kodesh (profane) the Dahm HaBrit which set him apart mekudash and also committed Chillul Hashem gidduf against the Ruach Hakodesh of Hashem’s chesed? 30 For we have da’as of the One who said, LI NAKAM V’SHILEM (“Vengeance is mine and I will repay”) [DEVARIM 32: 35] and again YADIN HASHEM AMMO (“The L-rd will judge his people” DEVARIM 32: 36). 31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the Elohim Chayyim.

Hebrews 10: 28-31, KJV: 28 He that despised Moses’ law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: 29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace? 30 For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people. 31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 3. Kehillah in Rome 8: 3-9, OJB: 3 For what the Torah was unable to do in that it was weak through the basar (fallen human nature under Chet Kadmon and without hitkhadshut renewal and regeneration by the Ruach Hakodesh), G-d sent his own Ben HaElohim [Moshiach] in the very demut (likeness) of the basar of sinful humanity and as a chattat (sin offering, sin atoning sacrifice, 2C 5: 21) and both pronounced and effected a sentence of death on HaChet baBasar (Sin in the Flesh, in the fallen old humanity) 4 In order that the maleh chukat haTorah (the full statute requirement of the Torah, see VAYIKRA 18: 5) might be fulfilled in us whose halakhah is in the Derech [HaChayyim] (the Way of Life) according to the Ruach Hakodesh and not in accordance with the basar. 5 For those who exist in terms of the basar take the side of the basar, whereas those who exist in terms of the Ruach [Hakodesh] take the side of the Ruach Hakodesh. 6 For the way of thinking of the basar is mavet (death), whereas the way of thinking of the Ruach Hakodesh is Chayyim and Shalom. 7 Because the way of thinking of the basar is hostility, eyvah (enmity BERESHIS 3: 15) toward G-d, for it does not submit itself to the Torah of G-d; for it cannot. 8 And those who are in the basar are not able to please Hashem. 9 However, you are not in the basar [i.e., unregenerate] but in the Ruach Hakodesh, assuming that the Ruach Hakodesh of Hashem does indeed dwell in you—if anyone does not have the Ruach HaMoshiach, that person does not belong to Moshiach.

Romans 8: 3-9, KJV: 3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: 4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. 9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

AN AFTERTHOUGHT: The Decalogue (the Ten Commandments) does not use the words “blasphemy”, “blaspheming”, “the Godhead,” or “the Holy Spirit.” Even so, developing and mature Christian believers usually discern and recognize the first commandments as the divine statements that provide instruction for genuine reverence and continuing relationship with divine fullness. It is written: Shemot 20: 1-7, Orthodox Jewish Bible (OJB): 1 Then Elohim spoke all these words, saying, 2 I am Hashem Eloheicha, Who brought thee out of Eretz Mitzrayim, out of the bais avadim (house of slaves). 3 Thou shalt have no elohim acherim in My presence. 4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any pesel, or any temunah of any thing that is in Shomayim above, or that is in ha’aretz beneath, or that is in the mayim under ha’aretz. 5 Thou shalt not tishtacheveh to them, nor serve them; for I Hashem Eloheicha am an El kanna, visiting the avon Avot upon the Banim unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate Me; 6 But showing chesed unto thousands of them that love Me, and are shomer over My mitzvot. 7 Thou shalt not take the Shem Hashem Eloheicha in vain; for Hashem will not hold him guiltless that taketh Shmo in vain.

Exodus 20: 1-7, King James Version (KJV): 1 And God spake all these words, saying, 2 I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. 3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me. 4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. 5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; 6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments. 7 Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

Today, the reply is on works that are dead and vain because they have no content of divine faith. We are more likely to realize another persons works have spiritual importance, meaning, substance and value, where their conduct clearly displays spirit substance imparted from the makeup of GOD has been infused within their own work by heartfelt care and effort. In addition to commitment, conviction and discernment, longsuffering, unselfishness, and zeal should appear. Admonitions to believers of the early church that were delivered by the Apostle Paul come to mind, once again: Galatians 3: 1-7, King James Version (KJV): 1 O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you? 2 This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? 3 Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh? 4 Have ye suffered so many things in vain? if it be yet in vain. 5 He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? 6 Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. 7 Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham. Also, Galatians 4: 11, KJV: 11 I am afraid of you, lest I have bestowed upon you labour in vain. A writer in the “Yahoo! Christians, We Know Faith Without Works is Dead. But What is Works Without Faith?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, my servants shall eat, but ye shall be hungry: behold, my servants shall drink, but ye shall be thirsty: behold, my servants shall rejoice, but ye shall be ashamed: Behold, my servants shall sing for joy of heart, but ye shall cry for sorrow of heart, and shall howl for vexation of spirit. And ye shall leave your name for a curse unto my chosen: for the Lord GOD shall slay thee, and call his servants by another name: That he who blesseth himself in the earth shall bless himself in the God of truth; and he that sweareth in the earth shall swear by the God of truth; because the former troubles are forgotten, and because they are hid from mine eyes. For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind. But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy. And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying. There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed. And they shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them. They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: for as the days of a tree are the days of my people, and mine elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands. They shall not labour in vain, nor bring forth for trouble; for they are the seed of the blessed of the LORD, and their offspring with them. And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear. The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent’s meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the LORD. (Isaiah 65: 13-25, King James Version, KJV)

David”, developing Christian believers are encouraged to examine the sacred process and substance of their own actions and works. Using the spirit content they have received from the makeup of divinity, they are to recognize and respond to events, possibilities, proclamations, prophecies, the holy writings, etc. Where spirit substance is lacking, activity is labeled as “self-promotion”, “vain”, “vainglory”, and “vanity” (i.e., empty; impotent; pointless; unfruitful; a waste of time). Consider the following that uses language from the Bible:

1. Psalms 127: 1, King James Version (KJV): 1 Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.

2. 2nd Chronicles 25: 1-2, KJV: 1 Amaziah was twenty and five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned twenty and nine years in Jerusalem. And his mother’s name was Jehoaddan of Jerusalem. 2 And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, but not with a perfect heart.

3. Hebrews 11: 6, KJV: 6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 4. 2nd Peter 1: 2-10, KJV: 2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, 3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: 4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. 5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; 6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; 7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. 8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins. 10 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.
